CITY OF AUCKLAND.

The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908 (Principal Act), and the Amendments thereof.

I HEREBY give notice that the result of the poll of ratepayers of the City of Auckland taken at Auckland on Friday, the 14th day of July, 1911, on the proposal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland to raise a special loan of £150,000 for the purposes of the extension and improvement of the Auckland waterworks by the construction of a storage-reservoir for the water-supply of the City of Auckland at Nihotupu, the purchase and laying of new mains for the conveyance of the water from Nihotupu towards the said city, and the purchase and laying of new mains for the improvement of the water-supply reticulation in the said city, was as follows: Number of votes recorded for the proposal, 1,073; number of votes recorded against the proposal, 312; majority for the proposal, 761.

I therefore declare the said proposal to be carried.

CITY OF AUCKLAND.

The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908 (Principal Act), and the Amendments thereof.

I HEREBY give notice that the result of the poll of ratepayers of the City of Auckland taken at Auckland on Friday, the 14th day of July, 1911, on the proposal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland to raise a special loan of £22,000 for the purposes of the purchase of part Allotment 9 and Allotment 10 of Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland, at the foot of Shelly Beach Road, containing about 12 acres, for the purpose of a public park, and the laying-out and improvement of such property for such purpose, was as follows: Number of votes recorded for the proposal, 856; number of votes recorded against the proposal, 512; majority for the proposal, 344.

I therefore declare the said proposal to be carried.

CITY OF AUCKLAND.

The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908 (Principal Act), and the Amendments thereof.

I HEREBY give notice that the result of the poll of ratepayers of the City of Auckland taken at Auckland on Friday, the 14th day of July, 1911, on the proposal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland to raise a special loan of £3,000 for the purpose of the erection of a suitable building, and the furnishing and equipment thereof, for the purposes of a branch to the public library on the waterworks property in Mount Eden Road, was as follows: Number of votes recorded for the proposal, 755; number of votes recorded against the proposal, 621; majority for the proposal, 134.

I therefore declare the said proposal to be carried.

I HEREBY give notice that the result of the poll of ratepayers of the City of Auckland taken at Auckland on Friday, the 14th day of July, 1911, on the proposal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland to raise a special loan of £5,000 for the purpose of the construction of swimming-baths in the Waitemata Harbour, off Shelly Beach, was as follows: Number of votes recorded for the proposal, 889; number of votes recorded against the proposal, 467; majority for the proposal, 422.

I therefore declare the said proposal to be carried.

I HEREBY give notice that the result of the poll of ratepayers of the City of Auckland taken at Auckland on Friday, the 14th day of July, 1911, on the proposal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland to raise a special loan of £10,000 for the purpose of the construction of swimming-baths in the vicinity of Hobson and Custom Streets, was as follows: Number of votes recorded for the proposal, 833; number of votes recorded against the proposal, 557; majority for the proposal, 276.

I therefore declare the said proposal to be carried.

I HEREBY give notice that the result of the poll of ratepayers of the City of Auckland taken at Auckland on Friday, the 14th day of July, 1911, on the proposal of the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Auckland to raise a special loan of £5,000 for the purpose of the construction of swimming-baths on the old reservoir-site bounded by Karangahape and Ponsonby Roads, Hereford and Hopetoun Streets, was as follows: Number of votes recorded for the proposal, 817; number of votes recorded against the proposal, 557; majority for the proposal, 260.

I therefore declare the said proposal to be carried.

RODNEY COUNTY.

Notice of Result of Poll on Loan.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1908, and of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same respectively.

I HEREBY give notice that on the 15th day of July, 1911, a proposal was submitted by the Rodney County Council to the ratepayers of the Albertland Special-loan District for raising a special loan of £800 for forming and metalling the Port Albert—Wellsford Junction Road and the Port Albert—Wellsford Valley Road, and that the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For, 41; against, 23.

And I declare the said proposal to be carried.

Notice of Result of Poll on Loan.

In the matter of the Counties Act, 1908, and of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same respectively.

I HEREBY give notice that on the 15th day of July, 1911, a proposal was submitted by the Rodney County Council to the ratepayers of the Te Hana to Mangawai Special-loan District for raising a special loan of £1,500 for forming and metalling the Te Hana to Mangawai Road, and that the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For, 41; against, 23.

And I declare the said proposal to be carried.
