Notifying Lands in Auckland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, as the time at which the lands enumerated in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

SUBURBAN LAND.
Suburbs of Raupo.

Good land, all cleared and in rough grass, except 2¼ acres of manuka on Section 14A. The sections are all fenced, and there is a cottage in poor repair on Section 14. Situated from 15 to 35 chains from Raupo Wharf on the Wairoa River.

Suburbs of Kawakawa.

Altitude, 30 ft. to 60 ft. above sea-level. Undulating inferior pipeclay land, covered with low scrub. Situated a quarter of a mile from Kawakawa Railway-station and post-office.

RURAL LAND.
Manukau County.—Otai Parish.

Altitude, 350 ft. to 400 ft. above sea-level. Undulating to level land, about 6 acres light-manuka forest and scrub, with one small kahikatea and one very small totara, balance fern and rough feed. Soil fair to medium, light loamy clay, on slate formation. Situated nineteen miles from Clevedon by cart-road.

Hobson County.—Mangakahia Survey District.

Weighted with £194, valuation for improvements consisting of store, with post-office, bedroom and lean-to, cook-house 18 ft. by 12 ft., and storeroom 30 ft. by 16 ft. All open land; soil fair to inferior in quality; 7 acres cleared and grassed, and 20 chains of fencing erected. Parakao Post-office is on this section.

Broken land, covered with mixed forest, comprising tawa, towai, tawhero, rimu, and rata, with heavy undergrowth of supplejack, punga, kotukutuku, makomako, &c. Soil of medium quality; fairly well watered by springs. Situated four miles from Awakino by formed dray-road.

Village Land.

The sections are all flat land, and in grass, fronting metalled roads. Access is from Hunter ville, which is about ten miles distant by metalled road, and from Feilding about twenty miles, also by metalled road. There is a school, telegraph-office, and butter-factory in the village.
