Gazette No. 2, of the
11th February, 1860.		 All that area in the Can-
terbury Land District, con-
taining by admeasurement
62 acres, more or less,
being part of Section No.
45, Hanmer Reserve, and
now designated Reserve
No. 3819, situated in Block
II, Lyndon Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded towards
the east by Section No. 47,
Hanmer Reserve (Jollie's
Pass Hotel Lease); towards
the south-east by the road
leading from Hanmer to
Nelson, via Jollie's Pass;
towards the west by Sec-
tions Nos. 29 and 30,
Hanmer Reserve; and to-
wards the north-west by
the run-boundary fence
intersecting Section No. 45
of Hanmer Reserve: as
the same is delineated
on the plan marked L.
48173/304, deposited in the
Head Office, Department
of Lands, at Wellington,
and thereon coloured pink.		 Plantation
reserve.

this nineteenth day of January, one thousand
nine hundred and eleven.

Changing the Purpose of a Reserve in the Town of Seddon,
Marlborough Land District.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS the provisions and requirements of the
seventh section of the Public Reserves and Domains
Act, 1908, have been duly complied with in respect of the
lands described in the first column of the Schedule hereto:
And whereas notices in the Gazette have been duly published
for four consecutive weeks, and laid before Parliament, as
provided by the said section of the said Act: And whereas
no resolution of either House of Parliament has been passed
that such House does not concur in the intention declared in
any such notice:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in
exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested
in me by the Act aforesaid, do hereby change the specific
purpose of the reserve described in the first column of the
Schedule hereto from that named therein to that named in the
second column of the said Schedule.

District, containing by admeasurement
1 rood 24 perches, more or less, being Sec-
tion 5, Block XIII, Town of Seddon.
Bounded towards the north-east by Rich-
mond Street, 100 links; towards the south-
east by Sections 1, 3, and 4, Block XIII,
Town of Seddon, 400 links; towards the
south-west by Mills Street, 88.9 links and
11.4 links; and towards the north-west by
Section 7 of said Block XIII, 397.3 links
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less
as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. 5919/11c, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington,
and thereon bordered red.
Reserved for a site for post and telegraph
offices in New Zealand Gazette No. 26, of
the 3rd April, 1902.		 Plantation pur-
poses.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this nineteenth day of January,
one thousand
nine hundred and eleven.

Changing the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in the
Suburbs of Gisborne, Hawke's Bay Land District.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS the provisions and requirements of the

quarantine-ground.		 All that area in the
Hawke's Bay Land District,
containing by admeasure-
ment 1 acre, more or less,
being Lot 2 of Section 210,
Suburbs of Gisborne.
Bounded towards the north-
east by Childer's Road,
200.7 links; towards the
south-east by other part of
said Section 210, 498.26
links; towards the south-
west by other part of Sec-
tion 210, 200.7 links; and
towards the north-west by
Lot 1 of Section 210, 498.26
links: be all the aforesaid
linkages more or less: as
the same is delineated on
the plan L. 58628/31, de-
posited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at
Wellington, and thereon
bordered green.		 For an addition to a site for a maternity
home.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twentieth day of January, one thousand
nine hundred and eleven.

Opening Land in Nelson Land District for Sale or Selection.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John
Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of
the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of
the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided in section one
hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that
the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for
sale or selection on Wednesday, the twenty-second day of
March, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and also
that the land mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the
option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected
for occupation with right of purchase, or on renewable lease;
and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said land
shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said
Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said land shall be
sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions
of the Land Act, 1908.
