as from the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, to be the Richmond Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-second day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at eight o’clock p.m., as the time when, and the Public School, Richmond, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

RICHMOND DOMAIN.
ALL that area in Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres, more or less, being part of Rural Section No. 182, Block XII, Christchurch Survey District. Bounded eastward by Lots 27 and 28, deposit plan 2782; southward by Lots 8 and 27 of said deposit plan; westward by a road-line, and also by Lots 34, 35, and 36, deposit plan 2782; and northward by Lots 29, 30, 32, and 33, deposit plan 2782; being part of the land included in Deeds Register No. 103, folio 6, deposited in the Deeds Registry Office, Christchurch: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1275, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured pink.

Exempting Portions of Follett and Bowen Streets, in the Borough of Marton, from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of January, 1911.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council:
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor by Order in Council thinks fit to impose:
And whereas on the twenty-fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and ten, the Marton Borough Council, the local authority having control of the portions of Follett and Bowen Streets described in the Schedule hereto, did by resolution declare that the provisions of the said section one hundred and seventeen should not apply to the said portions of streets:
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution, in so far as it affects the said portions of streets described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Follett Street, in the Borough of Marton, abutting on Lots 57 and 58 of Section 17 in the said borough.
Also all that portion of Bowen Street, in the Borough of Marton, situated between Lots 39, 46, 49, and 57 of Section 17 on the western side, and Lots 56, 50, 45, and 40 of Section 17 on the eastern side, all in the said borough.
As the said portions of streets are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 27975, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

WHEREAS the Whakatane County Council did, on the tenth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nine, take a poll of the ratepayers of the special rating district for the Taneatua Bridge over the Waimana River on a proposal to raise a loan of one thousand four hundred pounds, under the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, to construct the above-mentioned bridge: And whereas the voting-paper used at the said poll was made out in the form given in the Schedule to the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908,
