Declaring Portion of Road in Block II, Hunua Survey District, to be a Government Road.

ISLINGTON, Governor.
ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of January, 1911.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Taupo West County, adjoining the North Island Main Trunk Railway and road on frontage of Section 86, Block II, Hunua Survey District, and having an area of 4 acres and 38 perches; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 28187, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured green.

Declaring Portion of the Poro-o-taroa to Taumarunui Road, in the Borough of Taumarunui, to be under the Control and Management of the Taumarunui Borough Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be under the control and management of the Taumarunui Borough Council.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of street in the Auckland Land District, Taumarunui Borough, known as the Poro-o-taroa-Taumarunui Road, commencing at the crossing of the Rangaroa Stream on the northern boundary of Rangaroa Village Settlement, and proceeding generally in a southerly direction fronting Sections 1, 2, and 3, Block I, and Sections 18, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, and 17, Block IV, Rangaroa Village Settlement, and terminating at the crossing of the North Island Main Trunk Railway line, being a distance of 58 chains or thereabouts; as the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 28278, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Urenui Domain.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-third day of January, 1911.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the tenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and one, powers were delegated to the Urenui Domain Board for a period of ten years:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the said domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

WALTER FREDERICK JENKINS,
EDWARD JULIAN,
ROBERT HENRY PIGOTT,
CHARLES JAMES WILSON,
CHARLES NICHOLAS ROWE, and
WILLIAM SANGSTER,

as from the twenty-third day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, to be the Urenui Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the said Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the fourth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Mr. C. N. Rowe’s office, Urenui, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

URENUI DOMAIN.

ALL that area in the Taranaki Land District, containing by admeasurement 57 acres, more or less, being Section No. 12, Block III, Waitara Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by a reserve 100 links from high-water mark; towards the east by Section No. 2, Block III, Waitara Survey District, then by the Old North Road, and again by a road, 4122·3 links; generally towards the south by a reserve 100 links from high-water mark; towards the west by an intersection of the Old North Road and a reserve 100 links from high-water mark; and towards the south-west by the aforesaid reserve: save and except that portion of the Old North Road which intersects the section: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1203, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
