Defining the Middle-line of a Further Portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway—namely, the Paengaroa Section.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the further portion of the East Coast Main Trunk Railway from Te Puke to Paengaroa (hereinafter termed “the said railway”) is a railway the construction of which is authorized by the Railways Authorization Act, 1910: And whereas it has been determined to construct and maintain the said railway:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and in exercise of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the middle-line of the said railway shall be that defined and set forth in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
COMMENCING at a point in Kenana Block (5580, in red), Block II, Maketu Survey District, which point is marked 55 miles, and is the terminating-point of the railway described in a Proclamation dated the 5th day of July, 1910, and published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 67, of the 7th July, 1910; proceeding thence generally in a south-eastern direction for a distance of about 5 miles, and passing in, into, through, or over the following lands, viz.: the said Kenana Block (5580, in red), and Te Karangi Block (6097, in red), Block II, Maketu Survey District; Te Karangi Block (6097, in red), Pukaingataru Block (6168, in red), and Section 1, Block III, Maketu Survey District; Section 19, Block VII, Maketu Survey District; Sections 20, 2, and 22, Block VIII, Maketu Survey District; and terminating at a point in said Section 22 marked 60 miles, and distant 48½ chains south of the northern boundary and 40 chains east of the western boundary of said Block VIII, Maketu Survey District, including adjoining and intervening places, lands, reserves, roads, tracks, rivers, streams, and watercourses: all in the Auckland Land District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 29559, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty’s Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-eighth day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Drain from Willow Street to Union Street, in the City of Auckland.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of a drain from Willow Street to Union Street, in the City of Auckland:
And whereas the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Act, 1908, and the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said drain, and shall vest in the Auckland and Suburban Drainage Board as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under the Public Works Act, 1908, for the purposes of the Sydenham Post-office, in the City of Christchurch:
And whereas an agreement has been entered into with the owner of the land described in the Schedule hereto to take such land for the purposes of the said post-office:
And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister has recommended the Governor to issue a Proclamation taking the land as required by the Public Works Act, 1908:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, and being satisfied of the sufficiency of the agreement hereinbefore referred to, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said post-office; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twentieth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
