And whereas it is expedient that such land shall be appropriated for an addition to an agricultural and pastoral show-ground, being a purpose within the said Class I :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the fourth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, doth hereby declare that the said land shall, from and after the date hereof, be appropriated for an addition to an agricultural and pastoral show-ground under Class I of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 :

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 1 rood 4 perches, more or less, being Section 22A, Block II, Maketu Survey District, and being part of land originally set aside as a landing reserve in Gazette of 7th March, 1895, page 457. Bounded towards the north by eastern portion of Section 21, Block II, Maketu Survey District, 750 links; towards the north-east and south-east by a public road along the Waiari River, 2080 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 30 links; and towards the north-west by Section 65 of Block II aforesaid, 1648·2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 57144/23, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. Declaring Portion of the Reporua to Wairoa Road, in the Waiapu County, to be a County Road.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of June, 1911.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Waiapu County, Hawke’s Bay Land District, known as the Reporua to Wairoa Road, commencing at the crossing of the Reporua Stream near its mouth in Block XIV, Waiapu Survey District, being the south-eastern boundary of Ahikouka No. 2 Block, and extending through the said Ahikouka No. 2 Block first in a north-easterly direction for about 60 chains, thence north-westerly for about 60 chains, to its junction with a branch road bearing westerly, situated in Block XIII, Waiapu Survey District, thence northerly for about 86½ chains to the crossing of the Wairaki Stream, a total distance of about 206½ chains; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 29643, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Portion of the Ahoroa Road, in the Wairoa Road District, to be a District Road.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a district road

SCHEDULE.

ALL that portion of road in the Taranaki Land District, Wairoa Road District, known as the Ahoroa Road, commencing at its junction with the Mataimoana Road, and proceeding through part of Sections 11 and 10, Block XII, and Section 2 (education reserve), Block VIII, all in Opaku Survey District, to the confiscation-line at new T.P. XXIII, being a distance of 76¾ chains, more or less; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 29728, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Domain Board appointed to have Control of the Waitaki North Domain.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of June, 1911.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

WHEREAS by section forty of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, with respect to any public domain, appoint such persons (not exceeding nine) as he thinks fit to be a Domain Board having, subject to Part II of the said Act, control of such domain:

And whereas by an Order in Council made on the twelfth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and one, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and one, powers were delegated to the Waitaki North Domain Board for a period of ten years:

And whereas it appears expedient to again appoint a Domain Board to control the Waitaki North Domain:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the powers conferred by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby appoint

ROBERT CLARK,
WILLIAM HARPER, Jun., and
ISAAC CUTHBERTSON,

as from the twenty-seventh day of June, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, to be the Waitaki North Domain Board, having the control of the land described in the Schedule hereto for the purposes of and subject to the provisions of the said Act; and doth hereby appoint Saturday, the twenty-ninth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Glenavy School as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.

SCHEDULE.

WAITAKI NORTH DOMAIN.

ALL that area in Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 57 acres, more or less, being Reserve No. 2915 (in red), Block XIV, Waitaki Survey District. Bounded northward by Lots Nos. 101 and 102, Reserve No. 642; south-eastward by the road forming the south-west boundary of Lots Nos. 105 and 106, Reserve No. 642; south-westward by the road reserved along the bank of the River Waitaki; and north-westward by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of Lot No. 110, Reserve No. 642: save and excepting thereout Reserve No. 2914, which is included in the above-described boundaries: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1171, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered pink.
