Buddo, Acting Minister of Lands, do hereby authorize the
laying-off of Thistle Street, Shamrock Street, Rose Street,

Bay Land District, of a width of not less than 66 ft. instead of 99 ft.

PURSUANT to the provisions of the Land for Settle-
ments Act, 1908, and its amendments, I hereby
notify that the undermentioned Crown land, being the
land known as the Aviemore Settlement, which has been
acquired under the said Acts, is subject to the said Acts
as from 28th February, 1911.
SCHEDULE.
AVIEMORE SETTLEMENT.
All that parcel of land situated in the Otago Land Dis-
trict, and containing by admeasurement 30 acres, more or
less, being Section 3, Block II, Otamatakau District, and
bounded as follows : On the north-east by Kurow-Omarama
Road, 2184'3 links; on the south-east by Run 243E, 1373'4
links; on the south-west by Run 243E, 2184'3 links: and
on the north-west by Run 243E, 1373'4 links : be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less : and as the areas are more
particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S. 20057.

and Survey, in Wellington, and thereon edged with red.

Notifying Land in the Otago Land District subject to the
Provisions of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908.

land known as the Rugged Ridges Settlement, which has
been acquired under the said Acts, is subject to the said
Acts as from 1st March, 1911.
SCHEDULE.
RUGGED RIDGES SETTLEMENT.
All that parcel of land situated in the Otago Land Dis-
trict, and containing by admeasurement 219 acres 2 roods
30 poles, more or less, being Section 2A, Block III, Otama-
takau District, and bounded as follows : On the north by
a chain-wide road reserve along the old south bank of the
Waitaki River, 5440 links ; on the south-east by Run 243p
and Section 3, Block III, Otamatakau District, 5471'8
links ; on the south-west by a public road, 5199'5 links ; on
the north-west by said Run 243D, 3529 links : be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less : as the aforesaid areas are
more particularly shown on the plan marked L. and S.

Lands and Survey, in Wellington, and thereon edged red.

St. Joseph's Industrial School, Wellington.

NOTICE is hereby given that St. Joseph's Industrial
School, lately maintained at Hawkestone Street,
Wellington, is now maintained at the Upper Hutt. and
will be known in future as "St. Joseph's Industrial School,
Upper Hutt." The use of the said premises in Wellington
for industrial-school purposes is now discontinued.

Post and Telegraph Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed
"the said Act"), and by the regulations made on the 25th
March, 1895, and the 13th June, 1904, under the Electric
Lines Act, 1884, and published in the New Zealand Gazette
of the 4th April, 1895, and the 16th June, 1904, respectively, the following officers, at the addresses set against

received at this office up to 5 o'clock p.m. on Tues-
day, the 18th day of July, 1911, for a lease of the under-
mentioned land and building under Part I of the Public
Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.
SCHEDULE.
The old post-office site and building at Takaka, at present
occupied by the Collingwood County Council, with the
exception of the small shed at the back of the building.
Area : One rood, part of section numbered 18 on square
numbered 11 of the plan of the Provincial District of
Nelson, having a frontage of 100 links to the Waitapu
Road by a depth of 250 links at right angles thereto.
Term : Fourteen years.
Conditions : Fences to be kept in good repair, and land
to be kept clear of noxious weeds.
