GEORGE PARKINSON
to be a Trustee in the place of John Reginald Garratt,
resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the
Hampden Bush (Hawke’s Bay) Public Cemetery, in con-
junction with John Jauncey Buchanan, Walter Ernest
Ingram, Donald Campbell, and William Parkinson, pre-
viously appointed.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and eleven.

Omaruhenga Stream and its Tributaries, Auckland Land
District, notified under the Timber-floating Act, 1908.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authori-
ties conferred upon me by the second section of the
Timber-floating Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-
Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion
of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the undermen-
tioned stream and its tributaries may be used under
license for the purposes of the said Act.


SCHEDULE.

AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.

OMARUHENGA Stream and its tributaries, situated in
Mangonui County.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and eleven.

Appointing Member of Foxton Harbour Board.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS it is enacted by section eleven of the
Harbours Amendment Act, 1910, that if any con-
stituent district or combined district fails at any election
to elect the required number of representatives, the Go-
vernor may by Warrant under his hand appoint such quali-
fied persons as he thinks fit to be the representatives of
that district in lieu of those who ought to have been
elected :

And whereas on the last Wednesday in April, one thou-
sand nine hundred and eleven, the electors of the County
of Manawatu failed to elect a member of the Foxton
Harbour Board :

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the hereinbefore-
recited power and authority, doth hereby appoint Walter
Edward Barber, of Foxton, to be the representative of the
said county on the Foxton Harbour Board.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this thirty-first day of May, one thousand nine
hundred and eleven.

Land temporarily reserved for a Site for a Public Library
and Hall in the Town of Ward, Marlborough Land
District.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first
section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that
the Governor may from time to time, either by general or
particular description, and whether the same has been
surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwith-
standing that the same may be then held under pastoral
license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required
for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for
Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the
Governor may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside
reserves for any specified public purpose out of land ac-
quired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no
land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments :

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the said Acts, do hereby temporarily re-
serve from sale the land in the Marlborough Land District
described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a site for
a public library and hall.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, contain-
ing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Sec-
tion 8, Block II, Town of Ward. Bounded towards the
north by Section 7, Block II, Town of Ward, 200 links;
towards the east by Section 9 of said block, 125 links;
towards the south by Seddon Street, 200 links; and
towards the west by Ward Street, 125 links: be all the
aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated
on the plan marked L. 18886/636, deposited in the Head
Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon
bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this third day of June, one thousand nine hun-
dred and eleven.

the Wellington Land District.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first
section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that
the Governor may from time to time, either by general or
particular description, and whether the same has been
surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwith-
standing that the same may be then held under pastoral
license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required
for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, containing
by admeasurement 27 acres 1 rood 24 perches, more or
less, being Section 11A, Block V, Hunua Survey District.
Bounded towards the east by Section 5, Block VI, Hunua
Survey District, 1654·7 links; towards the south-east,
south-west, and north-west generally by Section 11,
Block V, Hunua Survey District, 940·7 links, 314·2 links,
235·3 links, 353·1 links, 545·3 links, 413·9 links, 454·3 links,
272·1 links, 249·3 links, and 682·6 links; and towards the
north generally by a public road, 348·1 links, 308 links,
620·5 links, and 47·8 links: be all the aforesaid linkages
more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. 587/12, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
