Notifying Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale by
Public Auction.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred
upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section
of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zea-
land, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the sixteenth day of
August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, as the
time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto
shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the
prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those men-
tioned in the said Schedule hereto.

LOCALITY AND DESCRIPTION.
The Town of Mawaihakona is situated between the Tren-
tham Railway-station, racecourse, and Main Hutt Road,
within two miles from the Upper Hutt Township. It com-
prises flat land, with fair soil, but stony, on a gravel formation,
and valuable owing to the proximity of the racecourse, golf-
links, &c. Some of the lots are partly covered with patches
of scrubby birch. The improvements on Lot 7, comprising
outbuildings, &c., are included in the upset price.

Land set apart for Disposal under the Fruit-farms
Settlement Act, 1910.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred
by section two of the Fruit-farms Settlement Act,
1910, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington,
the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
set apart the land described in the Schedule hereto for
the purpose of leasing or otherwise disposing of the same
for fruit-growing or other agricultural purposes, in accord-
ance with the provisions of the said Act.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1,253 acres 2 roods, more or less, being
Sections Nos. 156, 157, 158, 159, and 160, Parish of
Whangamarino, in Block XV, Maramarua Survey Dis-
trict. Bounded towards the north-west by the road form-
ing the south-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 155
and 361; towards the east generally by the Auckland-
Waikato Railway line; towards the south-east by the road
forming the north-western boundary of Section No. 409;
and towards the south-west generally by the road forming
the north-eastern boundaries of Sections Nos. 408, 392,
389, and 474, and the road forming the western boundary
of Section No. 388: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. 1911/161, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and eleven.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries
Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby appoint
JOHN FEAVER
to be a Trustee in the place of Aubrey Cross, deceased,
to provide for the maintenance and care of the Opunake
Public Cemetery, in conjunction with the Chairman
Opunake Town Board (ex officio), Henry James Newman
John Guy, Donald Ross, and Donald McGregor, pre-
viously appointed.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-seventh day of May, one thousand
nine hundred and eleven.
