The sections are level, in grass, with fair soil. Ngaturi Village is about six miles from Mangatainoka.

Notifying Lands in Wellington Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
I S L I N G T O N , Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the price at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

LOCALITY AND DESCRIPTION.
Pongaroa is situated at the junction of the main Alfredton— Weber Road with the Aohanga—Gorge Road, and is about thirty miles from Pahiatua. It is in the centre of a large farming district.

LOCALITY AND DESCRIPTION.
Rangataua is situated on the North Island Main Trunk Railway, about three miles south-east of Ohakune, and is eighty-two miles distant from Marton Junction and 198 miles from Wellington.
The sections, which have been felled and burnt, are nearly all level; some are wet in parts.
A sawmill, general store, post and telegraph office, and school have already been erected in the vicinity.
