ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of May, 1911.

I N exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Education Act, 1908, the Governor, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the Dominion, in regard to the regulations made under the Education Act, 1904, concerning inspection and examination of schools, doth hereby amend the said regulations as set forth in the Schedule hereto, and with the like advice and consent doth prescribe that this Order shall come into force on the first day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twelve.
SCHEDULE.
THE regulations made by Order in Council of the 23rd day of March, 1908, are hereby amended as to clause 15, “Standard of Exemption,” by deleting the word “Fifth,” and inserting in lieu thereof the word “Sixth”; and, further, by deleting the words “Standard V or a higher standard,” and inserting in lieu thereof the words “Standard VI.”

Conferring Extended Jurisdiction on Native Land Court.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-ninth day of May, 1911.

THE HONOURABLE JAMES CARROLL PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
W HEREAS by section twenty-five of the Native Land Act, 1909, it is enacted that the Governor may by Order in Council confer upon the Native Land Court, as effectually as if the same was conferred by that Act, jurisdiction in any matter or question affecting the rights of Natives in any real or personal property, and thereupon the Court shall have full jurisdiction and power to determine the matter or question according to law:
And whereas, pursuant to the Order in Council made at the Government House, at Wellington, the fifteenth day of April, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-two, the moneys therein mentioned were placed in the Public Trust Office upon the trusts therein declared concerning the same: And whereas the Public Trustee has paid the principal sum and all accrued interest in respect of the shares of Eraia te Hunga, deceased (No. 25 in list), to the successors (or their successors) as set out in the fifth column of the Schedule to the said Order in Council: And whereas doubts have arisen as to the identity of Heta and Rangipane, the successors named as aforesaid, and the rights of Pirihira Rangi Whakamapuna to succeed to the interests of Heta or Rangipane, and whether the Kataraina Rangipane mentioned in the certificate of identity signed by Judge Johnson is the same person as the Rangipane mentioned in the fifth column of the Schedule to the said Order in Council:
And whereas it is expedient that the Native Land Court should be empowered to inquire and ascertain who are the Natives entitled, and in what shares and proportions, to the interest or share of the said Heta and Rangipane in the said moneys:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by subsection one of section twenty-five of the Native Land Act, 1909, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the investigation and determination of the aforesaid matters, and of any matter or question which may arise in relation thereto, or which it shall be and the same are hereby brought within the jurisdiction of the said Court: And it is hereby declared that this Order in Council is made under the provisions in that behalf of the Native Land Act, 1909, and shall operate accordingly as a consent of the Governor in Council to the proceedings hereby authorized.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke a certain Order in Council, dated the twentieth day of May, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-six, delegating powers to the Kawakawa Domain Board, and doth hereby appoint

to be the Kawakawa Domain Board, having, subject to the said Act, control of the lands described in the Schedule hereto, which lands are a public domain, and shall be called the Kawakawa Domain; and also doth hereby appoint Monday, the third day of July, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at half past seven o’clock p.m., as the time when, and Kawakawa, as the place where, the first meeting of the Board shall be held.
SCHEDULE.
KAWAKAWA DOMAIN.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 13 acres 2 roods 29 perches, more or less, being Section 47, Ruapekapeka Parish. Bounded towards the north-east by Kuranui and Te Kapa Blocks and Wahitapu, 1148 and 326 links; towards the south-east by a public road, the crossing of the aforesaid road, 478·5, 446, and 177·3 links; towards the south-west by a public road, 550 links; and towards the west generally by a public road along the Kawakawa River: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: save and excepting a public road intersecting the above-described land: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1406, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 73 acres 2 roods 10 perches, more or less, being Section 26, Suburbs of Kawakawa, Block XVI, Kawakawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by a public road: towards the east by Crown land; towards the south by Crown land, Section 30 (rifle-range reserve), and again by Crown land; and towards the west by Crown land: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1391/16, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
Also all that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 28 perches, more or less, being Block II, Village of Waiomio. Bounded towards the north-east by Marshal Street, towards the
