ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this fifth day of May, 1911.

WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council :
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions with respect to the building-line as the Governor by Order in Council thinks fit to impose :
And whereas on the nineteenth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, the Dunedin City Council, the local authority having control of the portion of street described in the Schedule hereto, did by resolution declare that the provisions of the said section one hundred and seventeen should not apply to the said portion of street :
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution in so far as it affects the said portion of street described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of street in the City of Dunedin, known as Allandale Road, commencing at its junction with Forbury Road and running in a south-westerly direction along the southern boundary of Allotment 1, Township of Allandale, Ocean Beach, and town districts; as the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 27582, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon bordered red.

ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
And whereas by the sixty-ninth section of the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, it is further provided that the Governor may from time to time, as he thinks fit, set aside reserves for any specified public purpose out of land acquired under the last-mentioned Act, provided that no land so acquired shall be set aside for endowments :
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Acts aforesaid, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Auckland, Hawke’s Bay, and Wellington Land Districts described in the Schedule hereunder written, for the purposes in the said Schedule specified at the end of the respective descriptions of the land so intended to be temporarily reserved.

SCHEDULE.
AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 5 acres 2 roods 37 perches, more or less, being Allotments Nos. 4, 5, 10, and 11, Block II, Hetana Hamlet (Block III, Titirangi Survey District). Bounded towards the north-east by a public road; towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-west by Allotment No. 9, Hetana Hamlet; again towards the south-east by the aforesaid Allotment No. 9; again towards the south-west by Allotment No. 3 of the aforesaid hamlet; and towards the north-west by a public road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19244/80, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple. For a site for a public school.
HAWKE’S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 7 acres, more or less, being Section No. 15, Block I, Waikohu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road, towards the south and south-west by a public road, and towards the north-west by Section No. 14, Block I, Waikohu Survey District aforesaid; as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19404/98A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green. For a resting-place for travelling stock.
All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres and 32 perches, more or less, being Section No. 13, Block XV, Waikohu Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 7, Block XV, Waikohu Survey District, and Okahuatiu No. 1A Block; towards the east generally by a public road; and towards the south-west by Section No. 7, Block XV aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19404/98B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green. For a resting-place for travelling stock.
All that area in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 3 acres 2 roods 24 perches, more or less, being Section No. 3, Block XIV, Waikohu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by a public road; towards the south-east, south, and south-west by Section No. 2 of Block XIV aforesaid; and towards the north-west by Lot 2 of Okahuatiu No. 1 Block: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 19404/98C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green. For a resting-place for travelling stock.
WELLINGTON LAND DISTRICT.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section No. 4, Block VI, Town of Paraparaumu. Bounded towards the north-west by the Wellington–New Plymouth Railway line; towards the north-east by Section No. 5, Block VI, Town of Paraparaumu; towards the south-east by a public road; and towards the south-west by Section No. 3 of the said block: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5924/4, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a site for a post-office.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods 38 perches, more or less, being Section No. 32, Block XI, Hautapu Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 11, Block XI, Hautapu Survey District, a gravel reserve, 862·3 links; towards the east and south by Section No. 9, Block XI aforesaid, 230·7 links and 862·3 links; and towards the west by Section No. 10, Block X, Hautapu Survey District, 230·7 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5485/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For gravel purposes.
All that area in the Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 4 acres and 38 perches, more or less, being Section No. 139, Block II, Hunua Survey District, commencing at a point on the eastern side of the North
