Island Main Trunk Railway line immediately opposite
the north-western boundary of Section No. 95, Block II,
Hunua Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east
and south-east generally by a public road, and towards the
south-west by the North Island Main Trunk Railway; as
the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1683/1,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a public
cemetery.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Lands temporarily reserved for Purposes of Public
Recreation in the Canterbury Land District.

W HEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first
section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that
the Governor may from time to time, either by general or
particular description, and whether the same has been
surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral
license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required
for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Canterbury
Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written,
for purposes of public recreation.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section 541,
Town of South Rakaia, and now forming part of Reserve 2986. Bounded towards the north-east by Section 542, Town of South Rakaia; towards the south-east
by Section 543 of said town; towards the south-west by
Michael Street; and towards the north-west by Tancred
Street.

All that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing
by admeasurement 1 rood, more or less, being Section 552, Town of South Rakaia, and now forming part
of Reserve 2986. Bounded towards the north-east by
Dunford Street; towards the south-east by Section 554,
Town of South Rakaia; towards the south-west by Section 551 of said town; and towards the north-west by
Section 550, Town of South Rakaia aforesaid.

As the same are delineated on the plan marked L. 1448/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this fifth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of Portion of a
Reserve in the Marlborough Land District.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the Public Reserves and Domains Act.
1908, it is, amongst other things, enacted that the
Governor may declare his intention to change, exchange,
or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the
purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said
Act, whether the same be granted or not; and in the case of
any reserve made under the authority of section three hundred
and twenty-one of the Land Act, 1908, if it shall, in the
opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose
for which such reserve was set apart to any other purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to exchange any of the land comprised in such
reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one
or more purposes named in the said Class II, the Governor
may, by notice gazetted, make such change, exchange, or
dedication, as the case may be, and in such notice declare
the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be
so made:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron
Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand,
do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and
authorities conferred upon me by the Public Reserves and
Domains Act, 1908, aforesaid, declare my intention to change
the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in
the second column of the Schedule hereto from that named
in the first column of the said Schedule to that named in
the third column of the said Schedule.

Bounded towards the north-west, 6100 links, by Queen Charlotte Sound; towards the east, 4100 links, by Tory Channel; and towards the south-west, 3946 links, by a public road, Small Grazing-run No. 153, and Section 43, Block VIII, Arapawa Survey District: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5513/5, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red. 2 roods, more or less, being part of Section 131, Queen Charlotte Sound, Block VIII, Arapawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west, 400 links, by Queen Charlotte Sound; towards the east, 420 links, by Tory Channel; and towards the south-west, 350 links, by other portion of Section 131 aforesaid: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5513/3, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

PURPOSE.

Reserved for purposes of public utility by notification in Marlborough Provincial Gazette No. 88, of the
22nd December, 1864.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-seventh day of April, one thousand nine hundred and eleven.
