Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whareongaonga C No. 8 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Muriwai, on Thursday, the 27th day of April, 1911, at 11 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“ That the said block be leased to Thomas Bartlett, jun., for a period of twenty-one years, with a right of renewal for a further twenty-one years, the rent to be 5 per cent. on the Government valuation for the first twenty-one years, and 5 per cent. on the then Government unimproved value for the renewed term. The lease to contain usual covenants.”

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION No. 48.

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Mahanga No. 1p Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Opoutama, on Wednesday, the 10th day of May, 1911, at 10 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions :—

“ (1.) That portion of the said Mahanga 1p Block shown on the plan hereto annexed, and containing approximately 400 acres, be sold to Henry George Jackson Franklin, of Opoutama, settler, at the capital value of the said portion of the Mahanga 1p Block, such value to be ascertained by a special valuation of the same to be made by the District Valuer.

“ (2.) That the northern portion of the said Mahanga No. 1p Block—i.e., the portion adjoining the Umumango No. 2 Block—containing 200 acres, more or less, be sold to Matthew McCredie, of Gisborne, settler, at the Government capital value of that portion.”

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Maraekowhai A No. 5 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Taumarunui, on Tuesday, the 9th day of May, 1911, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of further considering the following proposed resolution :—

“ That the Maraekowhai A No. 5 Block, or any part thereof, be sold to the Crown; or, in the alternative, that the said block, or any part thereof, be vested in the Aotea District Maori Land Board for leasing or sale under Part XIV of the Native Land Act, 1909.”

REGULATION No. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Rotorangi Nos. 1 and 2 Blocks will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Patea Courthouse, on Friday, the 5th day of May, 1911, at 1.30 o’clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“ That the said blocks, or any part thereof, be sold to the Crown.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Aotea Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Retaruke Nos. 1, 2, 3, and 4 Blocks will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Taumarunui, on Tuesday, the 9th day of May, 1911, at 11.30 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :—

“ That the said lands be vested in the Aotea District Maori Land Board for sale or lease under Part XIV of the said Act.”

THE Maori Land Board for the Ikaroa Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whitiatara Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at the Meeting-house, Takapau, on Friday, the 28th day of April, 1911, at 10.45 o’clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of further considering the following proposed resolution :—

“ That this land, or part thereof, be sold to the Crown.”
