Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION NO. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Tutuotekaha No. 2 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa, on Saturday, the 6th day of May, 1911, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolutions :-

"(1.) That 1,335 acres, more or less, be leased to Henare Kemara and Henare Niania as tenants in common.

"(2.) That 667 acres, more or less, be leased to Pamaiviki Kaiora, of Wairoa.

"(3.) That 667 acres, more or less, be leased to Maraea Waaka Kereru, of Wairoa.

"The above leases to be for a term of twenty-one years, at rentals equal to 5 per cent. on the unimproved valuation of the land, with a right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value of the land."

"(4.) That 500 acres of the said block be leased to Te Heuheu Poutawa and Tuatini Taupara, of Wairoa, aboriginal Natives, as joint tenants, for a term of twenty-one years, at a rental of not less than 5 per cent. on the capital value of the land, with a right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value of the land, or with a right to compensation for improvements. The locality of the part to be leased to be decided upon at the meeting.

"(5.) That the said land be leased to Karena Taite and Pera Horomona as joint tenants for the term of twenty-one years, with a right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the unimproved valuation of the land.

"(6.) That 1,335 acres, more or less, be leased to Haenga Paretipua and Peta Pakuku, both of Wairoa.

"(7.) That 1,335 acres, more or less, be leased to Whare Puhake and Kare Rangi, both of Wairoa.

"The leases to be for the term of twenty-one years, at a rental of not less than 5 per cent. on the Government capital value of the land, with a right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, at a rental of 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value of the land."

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION NO. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of the Whakapau 5s No. 2 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Wairoa, on Saturday, the 6th day of May, 1911, at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :-

"That a lease of the said land be given to Phillip Henry Summerfield, of Wairoa, farmer, for a period of twenty-one years, at a rental of not less than 5 per cent. on the present Government capital value, with a right to a renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then unimproved value of the land, or with the right to compensation for improvements."

Notice of Meeting of Owners under Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909.

REGULATION NO. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Maraeataha No. 2c Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Nuhaka, on Tuesday, the 9th day of May, 1911, at 10 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :-

"That a lease of the said block, containing 474 acres, be granted to Hirini Kemara, of Nuhaka, half-caste sheep-farmer, for the term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the present unimproved valuation, with a right of renewal for a further term of twenty-one years, at a rental equal to 5 per cent. on the then unimproved valuation."

REGULATION NO. 48.

THE Maori Land Board for the Tairawhiti Maori Land District hereby notifies that a meeting of the owners of Whareongaonga C No. 1 Block will be held, in pursuance of Part XVIII of the Native Land Act, 1909, at Muriwai, on Thursday, the 27th day of April, 1911, at 11 o'clock in the forenoon, for the purpose of considering the following proposed resolution :-

"That the said block be leased to Thomas Bartlett, jun., for a period of twenty-one years, with a right of renewal for a further twenty-one years, the rent to be 5 per cent. on the Government valuation for the first twenty-one years, and 5 per cent. on the then Government unimproved value for the renewed term. The lease to contain usual covenants."

Dated at Gisborne, this 5th day of April, 1911.
