To the Warden of the Otago Mining District, at Roxburgh.
PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned, the Mayor, Councillors, and Burgesses of the Borough of Roxburgh, hereby apply for a license for a water-race as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Precise time for marking out privilege applied for: 10 a.m., 20th October, 1910.
Date and number of miner’s right: 19th October, 1910; No. 84913.
Address for service: Care of Robert Cockburn, Mining Agent, Roxburgh.
Dated at Roxburgh, this 20th day of October, 1910.

Locality of the race and of its starting and terminal points: Block X, Teviot. Starting at a point in Waterworks Creek, in Section 9, Block X, Teviot District, about 5 chains above the present intake of the Borough Water-race, and terminating at the head of the said Borough Water-race.
Length and intended course of race: 5 chains; north-easterly.
Points of intake: one.
Estimated time and cost of construction: Three months; £125.
Mean depth and breadth: 7 in. by 18 in. iron piping.
Number of heads to be diverted: Three.
Purpose for which water is to be used: Domestic use for the inhabitants of the Borough of Roxburgh.
Proposed term of license: Forty-two years.

AT an extraordinary general meeting of the members of the above-named company duly convened and held at the company’s office, Auckland, on the 24th day of October, 1910, the following extraordinary resolution was duly passed:—
“That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that it cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is desirable to wind up the same; and at the same meeting HENRY JAMES LEE, of Auckland, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding-up.”
