Land temporarily reserved for an Agricultural and
Pastoral Show-ground in the Nelson Land District.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first sec-
tion of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that
the Governor may from time to time, either by general or
particular description, and whether the same has been
surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwith-
standing that the same may be then held under pastoral
license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required
for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:
Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder,
Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New
Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and
authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby tem-
porarily reserve from sale the said land in the Nelson
Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written,
for an agricultural and pastoral show-ground.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by
admeasurement 98 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less,
being Sections 74 and 80 of Square 131, in Block X, Reef-
ton Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west
by Sections Nos. 79 and 73 of the before-mentioned
Square 131, 4044'9 links; towards the north-east by a
road, 2126'5 links; towards the south-east by the short
road to Capleston, 4092'4 links; and towards the south-
west by Section No. 83 of the before-mentioned Square 131,
2757'2 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less:
as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5446/1,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this eleventh day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and ten.

admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section 17,
Block XV, Maruia Survey District, being a rectangular
block of land the eastern corner of which is a point on
the road along the left bank of the River Maruia distant
949'8 links in a south-westerly direction along the said
roadside from the eastern corner of Section 1 of the before-
mentioned Block XV. Bounded towards the south-east by
the said road, 500 links; and towards the south-west,
north-west, and north-east by Section 1 of the before-
mentioned Block XV, 400, 500, and 400 links respectively :
be all the aforesaid linkages more or less : as the same is
delineated on the plan marked L. 5450/1A, deposited in
the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and
thereon bordered red. For metal purposes.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by
admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 30 perches, more or less,
and being Section 13, Block XII, Matiri Survey District.
Bounded towards the north-east by the main Nelson-West
Coast Road ; towards the south-east by the road leading
therefrom to the bridge across the Buller River near the
easternmost corner of Section 6 of the before-mentioned
Block XII; towards the south-west by the road along the
right bank of the Buller River; and towards the north-
west by Crown land: as the same is delineated on the
plan marked L. 5450/1b, deposited in the Head Office,
Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered
red. For a resting-place for travelling stock.
All that area in the Nelson Land District, containing by
admeasurement 39 acres, more or less, and being Sec-
tion 11, Block XII, Matiri Survey District. Bounded
towards the north-west generelly by the main Nelson-
West Coast Road and the road leading therefrom to the
bridge across the Buller River near the easternmost corner
of Section 6 of the before-mentioned Block XII; towards
the south-east generally by the roads along the right banks
of the Two-mile Creek and the Buller River; and towards
the south-west by the road along the last-mentioned river:
as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5450/1c,
deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at
Wellington, and thereon bordered red. For a resting-place
for travelling stock.

in the Town of Paeroa, Auckland Land District.

of Block I, Town of Paeroa. Bounded towards the north-
east by Normanby Road, 75 links; towards the south-east
by Lot 26, Block I, Town of Paeroa, 150 links; towards
the south-west by Lot 18 of Block I aforesaid, 75 links;
and towards the north-west by Lot 28 of Block I afore-
said, 150 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or
less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked
L. 5453/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.
As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this eleventh day of October, one thousand nine
hundred and ten.

Opening National Endowment Lands in Westland Land
District for Selection.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities
conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John
Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the
national endowment lands described in the Schedule hereto
shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Tuesday,
the thirteenth day of December, one thousand nine hun-
dred and ten, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule;
and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased
under and subject to the provisions of the said Act.
