NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL.
In the matter of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and amendments, and of the Counties Act, 1908, and amendments.
I HEREBY give notice that on the 24th day of September, 1910, a proposal was submitted by the Tauranga County Council to the ratepayers of the County of Tauranga that such Council proposes to make and levy an annual-recurring special rate, to be called a bridge rate, of ¼d. in the pound on the unimproved rateable value of all the rateable property in the County of Tauranga, for the purpose of providing funds for the reconstruction of bridges on roads under the jurisdiction of the Council, and that the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For, 190 votes; against, 8 votes.
And I declare the said proposal to be carried.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL.
In the matter of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and amendments, and of the Counties Act, 1908, and amendments.
I HEREBY give notice that on the 24th day of September, 1910, a proposal was submitted by the Tauranga County Council to the ratepayers of the Te Puna Riding of the County of Tauranga that such Council proposes to raise a special loan of £1,000 for the purpose of forming, grading, and metalling by-roads in the Te Puna Riding of the County of Tauranga, and to make an annual-recurring special rate of ¼d. in the pound sterling on the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property in the said riding as security for the interest in connection with such loan. The whole of the loan is to be repayable at the expiration of thirty-six years and a half from the raising of the loan, and the interest to be paid is at the rate of 3½ per centum per annum. It is proposed to pay out of the loan-moneys the cost of raising the loan and the first year’s interest on the loan. And that the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For, 46 votes; against, 1 vote.
And I declare the said proposal to be carried.

Result of Poll for Proposed Loan of £7,500.
I HEREBY give notice that at a poll taken this day upon the proposal of the Council of the Borough of Feilding to raise a special loan of £7,500 for the purpose of erecting a municipal town hall, furnishing the same, and the acquisition of the necessary land, the number of votes recorded respectively is as follows: For the proposal, 168; against the proposal, 297; informal, 15.
As the number of votes recorded against the proposal exceeds the number of votes recorded for the proposal, I hereby declare the proposal to be lost.

CHRISTCHURCH DRAINAGE BOARD.
In the matter of the Christchurch District Drainage Act, 1907, and of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and of the Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908, and the Acts amending the same respectively.
We hereby give notice that on the 22nd day of September, 1910, proposals were submitted by the Christchurch Drainage Board to a poll of ratepayers of the Fitzgerald Avenue—Falsgrave Street Drainage Loan Special Rating Area for raising a special loan of £7,500 for the purpose of constructing storm-water sewers along Fitzgerald Avenue to the River Avon and along Falsgrave Street to the River Heathcote, for the more efficient drainage of the above-named subdivision of the Christchurch Drainage District for the use and benefit of the inhabitants of the above-mentioned drainage district; and that the number of votes recorded respectively for and against the proposal was as follows: For, 62; against, 143; informal, 6.
We therefore declare the proposal not carried.

THE following notice, received from the Mayor of the Borough of Foxton, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Foxton was taken on the 6th day of October, 1910, on the proposal of the Foxton Borough Council to borrow the sum of £9,000 for the purchase of the Foxton Gasworks, and £2,000 for additions to and extension of same; in all, £11,000.
The number of votes recorded for the proposal was 107; the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 8; informal, 2.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

NOTICE OF RESULT OF POLL ON PROPOSAL TO RAISE A LOAN.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Green Island taken on the 6th day of October, 1910, on the proposal of the Green Island Borough Council to borrow the sum of £6,500 for a water-supply for the borough, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 209, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 44.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried by a majority of 165 votes.
