being satisfied that the land enumerated in the Schedule
hereto is free from Native claims and all difficulties in con-
nection therewith, do hereby proclaim and declare the land
so enumerated as aforesaid to be Crown land, subject to be
sold and dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the
said Act.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder
Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of
the owners and mortgagees of the land mentioned in the First
Schedule hereto, and of the Waipa County Council, being
the local authority in whose district the said land is situated,
proclaim as a road the land in Newcastle Survey District
described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby,
with the like consent as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the
road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not
required by reason of the road described in the First
Schedule hereto.

All in the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked and coloured
as above mentioned, and deposited in the office of the
Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington
Provincial District.
