The Native Land Court Act, 1894.

IN THE NATIVE LAND COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,
WHANGANUI DISTRICT.

In the matter of the Waimarino Native Reserves C and D; and in the matter of an application by Kahu Karewao and others, under section 39 of the said Act, for a variation of the boundaries of the said reserves.

WHEREAS the said application has been referred to the Native Land Court for inquiry and report, and the same has been duly reported upon: And whereas upon such inquiry it was ascertained that the boundaries sought to be amended or altered were not laid down by the Native Land Court, and that therefore the Chief Judge has no jurisdiction to amend the same: Now, therefore, I, the said Chief Judge, do hereby order that the said application be and the same is hereby dismissed on the grounds that I have no jurisdiction in the matter.

As witness my hand and the seal of the Court, this 18th day of August, 1910.

NOTICE is hereby given that the several matters mentioned in the Schedule hereunder written will be considered at a meeting of the Tairawhiti District Maori Land Board to be held at Gisborne on Monday, the 5th day of September, 1910, at 10.30 o’clock in the forenoon, or as soon thereafter as the business of the Board will allow.
