Approval of Fees for Licensing of Vehicles fixed by By-
law, Akaroa County Council.

IT is hereby notified, in accordance with section 107 of
the Counties Act, 1908, that so much of the by-laws
made by the Akaroa County Council, and sealed on the 2nd
day of July, 1910, as appoint the several sums to be paid
to the Akaroa County funds for the licensing of vehicles,
have this day been approved by His Excellency the Go-
vernor.

empower you to make use of the Public Seal lately in use
within Our Dominion of New Zealand, for sealing all
things whatsoever that are used to be sealed therewith,
until another Seal shall be prepared and transmitted to

And for so doing this shall be your Warrant.
Given at Our Court at Saint James’s, this twenty-
sixth day of May, 1910, in the First Year of
Our Reign.

of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

SPECIAL ORDER.
NOTICE is hereby given that at a special meeting of the
Omaka Road Board held on the 9th day of June, 1910, a
resolution was passed: That the interest and sinking fund
for the current year on the special loan of £3,000 granted
to the Board by the Government under the provisions of
the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, for the purpose of con-
structing certain bridges and culverts, be paid out of the
general funds of the Board.
And notice is hereby also given that the said resolution
will be submitted to a special meeting of the Board to
be held at the office of the Board, situate in High Street,
Blenheim, on Friday, the 15th day of July, 1910, at 10 a.m.,
for confirmation as a special order.
Dated at Blenheim, this 16th day of June, 1910.

duly made and adopted and passed in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and the

Board, is published in accordance with the provisions
of the Road Boards Act, 1908.

PELORUS ROAD BOARD.
Special Order raising Special Loan and making Special
Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Road Boards Act, 1908, the Public
Works Act, 1908, the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and
Acts amending the same, the Pelorus Road Board hereby
resolves as follows: That the Board raise a special loan of
£463 0s. 11d., by special order, in pursuance of the pro-
visions of subsection (3) of section 119 of the Public Works
Act, 1908, for the purpose of paying the amounts of £346
12s. 9d., being 7½ per cent. of the cost of constructing
the Wairau Bridge at Spring Creek, and £116 8s. 2d.,
being 10 per cent. of the cost of constructing the Omaka
Bridge, near Renwick, as directed to be paid by His Ex-
cellency the Governor by Warrants published in the New
Zealand Gazette No. 29, page 976, of the 8th April, 1909,
and Gazette No. 26, page 907, of the 24th March, 1910, re-
spectively; and make and levy a special rate of ⅛d. in the
pound on the unimproved value of all rateable property in
the Pelorus Road District as security for the interest and
sinking fund in connection with such loan; and that such
special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the
currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st
day of April in each and every year during the currency of
such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or
until the loan is fully paid off.
The above special order was duly passed at a special
meeting of the Pelorus Road Board held on the 31st day
of May, 1910, and confirmed at a subsequent meeting of
the said Board held on the 5th day of July, 1910.
