Notice respecting Proposed Alteration in Boundaries of Borough of Roslyn.

Wellington, 21st July, 1910.

PURSUANT to section 118 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor directs it to be notified that a petition, in accordance with regulations, signed by not less than one-fourth of the electors of the area described in the Schedule hereto, has been presented to him, praying that the said area may be excluded from the Borough of Roslyn and included in the County of Taieri. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to, or petitions against, the proposed alteration within one month from the first publication of this notice. Such objections or petitions are to be addressed and forwarded to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

AREA PROPOSED TO BE EXCLUDED FROM THE BOROUGH OF ROSLYN AND TO BE INCLUDED IN THE COUNTY OF TAIERI.

ALL that area in the Otago Land District bounded towards the north generally by Sections Nos. 31, 2 of 32, and 1 of 32 from the road at the south-western corner of Section No. 31 aforesaid to the north-western corner of Section No. 30, Wakari Survey District; thence towards the south-east generally by the last-mentioned section and the road forming the south-western boundary of Section No. 31 to the south-eastern corner of Section No. 33, Wakari Survey District; thence across the said road and by Allotments Nos. 11 and 15, Block I, Chalmerston Township, across a road, by Allotment No. 11, Block II, Chalmerston Town-
