For a site for public buildings of the General Government.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 roods, more or less, being Section 1, Village of Mangati (Block VI, Whaingaroa Survey District). Bounded towards the north-east by a public road 100 links wide; towards the south-east by Section 2, Village of Mangati; and towards the south-west and the north-west by Section 2, Block VI, Whaingaroa Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5422/1B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red. For a site for a public pound.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 acres and 7 perches, more or less, being Section 3, Village of Mangati (Block VI, Whaingaroa Survey District). Bounded towards the north-east by a public road 100 links wide; towards the south-east by Section 2, Block VI, Whaingaroa Survey District; and towards the north-west by Section 2, Village of Mangati: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5422/1C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple. For a site for a public school.

Land temporarily reserved for a Site for the Deposit of Rubbish in the Canterbury Land District.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of the Land Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land in the Canterbury Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, for a site for the deposit of rubbish.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District, containing by admeasurement 1 acre, more or less, being Reserve 3820 (in red), situated in Block VII, Cheviot Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of Section 9, the said point being distant 623·2 links from the south-western corner of that section, and proceeding thence north-easterly along the aforesaid boundary of Section 9, 316·3 links; thence south-easterly along a line at a right angle to that boundary, 316·3 links; thence south-westerly along a line at a right angle to the last-mentioned boundary, 316·3 links; and thence north-westerly along a line at a right angle to the last-named boundary, 316·3 links, to the place of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 48749/163, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Trustees for the Waimatenui Public Cemetery appointed.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.


SCHEDULE.

Abraham Fitch, John Henry Orr, Henry Moore, Charles McAlister, and Edward O’Neill. WAIMATENUl. All that area in Hokianga County, Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 10 acres, more or less, being Section No. 11, Block II, Tutamoe Survey District, and bounded as follows: Commencing at a point on the northern side of a public road, the said point being the angle peg on said road opposite the northernmost corner peg of Section No. 4, Block II, Tutamoe Survey District (marked “A” on the plan hereinafter referred to), and being bounded thence in a north-westerly direction by lines along the said road bearing 298° 9′, 56° 25′ 30″, and 333° 44′ respectively, with distances respectively of 110, 140, and 449·4 links; thence north-easterly along a line bearing 48° 35′, a distance of 757·6 links; thence south-easterly along a line bearing 138° 35′, a distance of 1330·1 links; thence south-westerly along a line bearing 48° 34′ 55″, a distance of 713·5 links, to the public road aforesaid; and thence by that road to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid bearings and linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1606/1, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Bounded towards the north-east by a road, 545·7 links; towards the south-east by a road, 1147·6 links; towards the south-west by a road, 218·5 and 334·4 links; and towards the north-west by a road, 41·4, 238·4, 226, 490, and 478·9 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1639, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and ten.
