Trustees for the Utuwai Public Cemetery appointed.

ISLINGTON, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the fourth section of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint the several persons whose names are specified in the first column of the Schedule hereto to have the control and management of the public cemetery specified in the second column of the said Schedule.

SCHEDULE.

Names of Trustees. Name of Public Cemetery, and Description of Land.
Thomas Currie, Alfred Wycherley, Harold Campbell Raikes, James Currie, and William Currie. UTUWAI. All that area in Pohangina County, Wellington Land District, containing by admeasurement 2 acres, more or less, being Section No. 1, Makoura Village, situated in Block XVI, Apiti Survey District. Bounded on the north-east and south-east by the abutment of a road and by Section No. 2, Makoura Village, a recreation reserve; on the south-west and north-west by Section No. 18A, Block XVI, Apiti Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 1650, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this nineteenth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Arrangements for First Elections, &c., New Lynn Town District, County of Waitemata.

HIS Excellency the Governor has been pleased to appoint

WILLIAM JOHNSON PARKER, the Younger, of New Lynn,

to be the Returning Officer for the purpose of conducting the first election of Commissioners of the Town District of New Lynn, County of Waitemata, as constituted under the Town Boards Act, 1908: Also to appoint Wednesday, the 10th day of August, 1910, to be the date, and Mr. Charles T. Shaw’s house, at New Lynn, to be the place, at which the first election of the Commissioners of the Town District of New Lynn, County of Waitemata, as constituted by the Town Boards Act, 1908, shall be held: And also to appoint Saturday, the 13th day of August, 1910, at 3 o’clock in the afternoon to be the time, and the said Mr. Charles T. Shaw’s house, at New Lynn, to be the place, at which the first meeting of the said Commissioners shall be held.
