Closing a Government Road in Block XI, Orahiri Survey District.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:

And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road:

Now, therefore, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road in Orahiri Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

Declaring Knight Road, in the Hawke’s Bay County, to be a County Road.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of July, 1910.

Present:

His Excellency the Governor in Council.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.


SCHEDULE.

KNIGHT ROAD.

All that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Hawke’s Bay County, known as the Knight Road, commencing at a point about 12 chains from the western boundary of Section 1, Block XI, Maraekakaho Survey District, and proceeding thence in a westerly direction to a point in Small Grazing-run No. 2, Block X, Maraekakaho Survey District, where it crosses the boundary between Hawke’s Bay and Waipawa Counties, a distance of 1 mile 30 chains, more or less; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 27010, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Declaring Reefton to Railway-station Road, in the Inangahua County, to be a County Road.


ISLINGTON, Governor.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government House, at Wellington, this eighteenth day of July, 1910.

Present:

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.


SCHEDULE.

REEFTON TO RAILWAY-STATION ROAD.

All that road in the Nelson Land District, Inangahua County, known as Reefton to Reefton Station Road, commencing at the boundary of the road and railway reserve, at Taipoti Station, on the Greymouth to Reefton Railway line; thence proceeding in a south-easterly direction through Section 152, Block XIII, Reefton Survey District; thence from the boundary of the said Block XIII, in a north-easterly direction through Block XIV, Reefton Survey District, to the bridge across the Inangahua River at Ross Town; thence north through the Town of Reefton, being Sinnamon Street; thence north-westerly to the corner of Sections 699 and 700, Town of Reefton; thence between the said sections and also Sections 651 and 652 to the Buller Road; thence north-westerly to the boundary of the Town of Reefton at Crumpton Road, this portion being Buller Road; thence in the same direction between Sections 132 and 133 to a point at the corner boundary of the railway reserve and Section 132: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 26894, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured purple.
