COLLINGWOOD COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order making Rate.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," the Collingwood County Council hereby resolves as follows:
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £175, authorised to be raised, under the above-mentioned Act, for the erection of the Aorere steel bridge, the said Collingwood County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Aorere Riding, in the said County of Collingwood; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
The resolution instituting the above special order was passed at a special meeting of the Collingwood County Council held on the 6th day of December, 1909, and was confirmed at a meeting of the Council held on the 4th day of January, 1910.

WHANGAREI COUNTY COUNCIL.
Special Order.
In the matter of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," "The Counties Act, 1908," and "The Rating Act, 1908," and any amendments thereof respectively.
In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Counties Act, 1908," and "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," and any amendments thereof respectively, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £400, bearing interest at the rate of 3½ per cent. per annum, being the further advance of one-tenth of the original loan of £4,000, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei County Council, under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," and its amendments, for completing the metalling of the main county roads in the Mangapai Riding Special-rating District, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the said Mangapai Riding Special-rating District, comprising the whole of the Road Districts of Waikiekie and Ruarangi, Sections 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, S.E. 70, 71, 72, 66, 73, 74, 75, 77, 78, 76, 84, 142, 85, 86, 98, 99, 101, 102, 103, 104, 135, 135A, 100, 132, 133, 79, 131, of the Parish of Maungakaramea; and all that area forming part of the Mangapai Outlying District of the Riding and Parish of Mangapai: bounded commencing at the south-eastern corner of Native Reserve No. 6676; towards the south by portion of the eastern boundary-line of the Parish of Ruarangi; towards the west generally by the said Ruarangi Parish line continued to its intersection with the southern boundary-line of the Parish of Maungakaramea; towards the north generally by said southern boundary-line of the Parish of Maungakaramea in an easterly direction to the Mangapai River; and by Sections 29, 28, 25, 26, 35, 36, and 37 of the said Parish of Mangapai to the commencing-point of the said Native Reserve No. 6676: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 12th day of December and the 12th day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

In pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by "The Counties Act, 1908," and "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," and their amendments, the Whangarei County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £900, authorised to be raised by the Whangarei County Council, under the provisions of "The Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1908," and its amendments, for the purpose of metalling the Main County Road from near the north-eastern boundary of the Borough of Whangarei through a portion of Block V, Whangarei Survey District, in the Kiripaka Riding, the said Whangarei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Tikipunga Special-rating District, the boundaries whereof are as follows—all that area in the County of Whangarei bounded commencing at a point on the Whangarei (or Hatea) River at the south-western corner of Section 41, Parish of Whangarei; thence along the western boundary of said Section 41, crossing the road, and following the western and north-western boundary of Section 42, same parish; thence by a road forming the western boundary of Sections 43, 44, and 45 of the same parish; thence along the northern boundary of said Section 45 to the Whangarei River aforesaid; thence in a north-easterly direction along the said river to the south-western corner of the Ngarangirakura Block; thence along the southern boundary of said last-mentioned block to the western boundary of Section 31, Parish of Parahaki; thence along the western and southern boundaries of said Section 31 to a road forming the western boundary of Section 30 of the Parish of Parahaki; thence crossing the said road, and along the northern boundaries of Sections 25, 29, and 37 of said last-mentioned parish; thence northerly by the western boundary-lines of Sections 39, 52, 53, and 54 of said last-mentioned parish to a road; thence along such road, forming the northern boundary of said Section 54, to the south-eastern corner of Section 47, Parish of Parahaki; thence northerly by the western boundary-lines of Sections 55, 56, 57, 58, and 59, Parish of Parahaki, to Trig. Station XIII; thence along the eastern boundary of Section 4, Block VI, Whangarei Survey District, to the Waitangi Stream; thence in an easterly direction along said stream to the eastern boundary of Pukepoto C5B Block to a road; thence north-westerly by said road to the south-east corner of Pukepoto 3809B Block; thence by the eastern boundary of the said last-mentioned block to the Ngunguru River; thence northerly by the said river to the north-easterly corner of the said last-mentioned block; thence in a westerly direction by the southern and part of the eastern boundaries of the Kopuatotetoe Block to Section 4 (museum endowment), Block I, Whangarei Survey District; thence generally by the eastern, northern, and western boundaries of the said endowment to Section 2 of Blocks I and V, Whangarei Survey District; thence in a southerly direction by the Mangakino Stream to its junction with the Waitaua Stream; thence following the up course of the last-named stream to a road forming the eastern boundary of Sections 3, 7, 10, 9, and 8, subdivisions of part of Section 50, Parish of Whangarei; thence in a southerly direction by the eastern boundaries of the Kamo Town District and Borough of Whangarei to the latter's connection with the Whangarei (or Hatea) River; and thence northerly by the said river to the commencing-point; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of forty-one years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
