ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of January, 1910.
Present:

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the eighth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, and published in the Gazette of the fourteenth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five, certain powers were delegated to the Parkville Domain Board in respect of the Parkville Domain therein described :
And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council of the eighth day of November, one thousand eight hundred and ninety-five.

Board of Governors of Canterbury College to be a Leasing Authority under “The Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.”

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Board of Governors of Canterbury College is a body having power to lease land, as defined by subsection one of section four of “The Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908,” and has applied to be declared a leasing authority within the meaning of that Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the above-mentioned Act, doth hereby order and declare that, from and after the date hereof, the Board of Canterbury College shall be a leasing authority within the meaning of that Act.

Declaring Portion of Makotuku to Matamau Road, in the County of Dannevirke, to be a County Road.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, be a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Makotuku to Matamau Road, in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Dannevirke County, commencing at the eastern corner of Section 59, Block IX, Takapau Survey District, and running generally in a south-westerly direction to a point in Block X, Norsewood Survey District, being a distance of two miles, more or less; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 25710, and coloured red, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District.

WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council :
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions as the Governor by Order in Council thinks fit to impose :
