Land taken for a Road in Block VIII, Wairere Survey District, Piako County.

A P R O C L A M A T I O N.

WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “The Public Works Act, 1908,” for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Block VIII, Wairere Survey District, Piako County:

And whereas the Piako County Council has laid before the Governor a memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and in pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of the said road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect as from the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.

At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this seventeenth day of January, 1910.

Present:

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G.,
PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and two, and published in the Gazette of the twenty-eighth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and two, certain powers were delegated to the Opawa Domain Board in respect of the Opawa Domain therein described:

And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council of the twenty-fifth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and two.

Appointment of Kumeroa Domain Board revoked.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the twenty-third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and two, and published in the Gazette of the eighth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and three, certain powers were delegated to the Kumeroa Domain Board in respect of the Kumeroa Domain therein described:

And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council of the twenty-third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and two.

WHEREAS by an Order in Council made on the thirteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and six, and published in the Gazette of the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and six, the Waitara Borough Council was appointed a Domain Board to have control of the Waitara Domain therein described:

And whereas it appears expedient to revoke the said Order in Council:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” and of every other power and authority enabling him in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council of the sixteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and six.
