ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twentieth day of June, 1910.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THE GOVERNMENT IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by an Order in Council dated the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the first day of November, one thousand nine hundred, the Wanganui Harbour Board was declared to be subject to the provisions of the Public Bodies’ Powers Act, 1887 :
And whereas the said Board has, in terms of subsection three of section fourteen of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed “the said Act”), requested that the said Order in Council may be revoked :
And whereas the Wanganui Harbour Board is a body of persons having power to lease land held in trust, reserved, or set apart for public purposes, and has requested the Governor in Council to declare it to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the said Act :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the aforesaid Order in Council of the twenty-ninth day of October, one thousand nine hundred, but without prejudice to anything heretofore done thereunder; and, further, in compliance with the aforesaid request of the said Wanganui Harbour Board, and in pursuance and exercise of the above-recited powers, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council as aforesaid, doth hereby order and declare that the said Wanganui Harbour Board is a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of June, 1910.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Taihape Borough Council is a body of persons having power to lease land held in trust reserved or set apart for public purposes, and has requested the Governor in Council to declare it to be a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908 :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in compliance with such request, and in exercise of the powers in this behalf conferred by the above-mentioned Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the Taihape Borough Council is a leasing authority within the meaning of the Public Bodies’ Leases Act, 1908.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the pieces of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become Government roads.

Exempting Portions of Kawau and Gill Streets, in the Borough of New Plymouth, from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of June, 1910.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by subsection one of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is, inter alia, provided that the said section shall not apply in any case where the local authority having control of a road or street by resolution declares that the provisions thereof shall not apply to any specified road or street, or any specified part thereof, and such resolution is approved by the Governor in Council :
And whereas by subsection two of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, it is provided that such approval may be either absolute or subject to such conditions as the Governor by Order in Council thinks fit to impose :
And whereas the New Plymouth Borough Council, the local authority having control of the portions of Kawau and Gill Streets described in the Schedule hereto, did by resolution declare that the provisions of the said section one hundred and seventeen should not apply to the said streets :
And whereas it is deemed expedient that such resolution should be approved :
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by the above-in-part-recited Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the said resolution.

SCHEDULE.
That portion of Kawau Street, in the Borough of New Plymouth, Taranaki Land District, commencing at its junction with Gill Street, and running in a north-westerly direction along the frontages of Sections 11, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, and 25 to the most northerly corner of Section 25, all in the Borough of New Plymouth.
Also that portion of Gill Street, in the Borough of New Plymouth, Taranaki Land District, commencing at its junction with Kawau Street, and running in a south-westerly direction along the frontages of Sections 11, 10, and 9, across Currie Street, along the frontages of Section 1, end of right-of-way (in or to Kawau Pa Harbour Reserve), and reclaimed land, to its junction with Huatoki Stream, all in the Borough of New Plymouth.
