Now, therefore, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in me vested by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a road, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Fitzroy Town Board, and shall be maintained by the said Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that parcel of land in the Land District of Taranaki, containing 3 roods 25·3 perches, more or less, being a portion of railway land near New Plymouth, extending from Baring Terrace to Mangorei Road, and being Lot 25A on Deposited Plan No. 2622 in the Lands Registry Office at New Plymouth.
Also all those parcels of land in the said land district, containing in the aggregate 1 acre 1 rood 22·9 perches, more or less, being portions of Sections H, 17, and 90 (old railway reserve), situated in Block V, Paritutu Survey District.
As the said parcels of land are more particularly shown coloured purple on plan marked W.R. 16990, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways, at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Honourable Sir Robert Stout, Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Chief Justice, Administrator of the Government in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twenty-second day of June, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Robert Stout, the Administrator of the Government of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners and lessee of the land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Waitaki County Council, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Oamaru Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the lessees of the Crown land mentioned in the Schedule hereto, proclaim as a road the land in Linkwater Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.
