Special Order made by the Council of the Borough of Mosgiel.

THE following special order, made by the Mosgiel
Borough Council, is published in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

BOROUGH OF MOSGIEL.

Special Order making Special Rate.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and the
Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Mosgiel Borough Council
hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of pro-
viding the interest and other charges on a loan of £4,000,
authorised to be raised by the Mosgiel Borough Council,
under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901, for completing the
drainage-work and waterworks, the said Mosgiel Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 5d. in the
pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the
Borough of Mosgiel, comprising Sections 23, 24, and 25,
Irregular Block; Sections 6, 10, 11, and 12, Block II; Sec-
tions 1, 2, 7, and 8, Block III; Sections 4, 5, and 6,
Block VI; and Sections 1, 2, 3, and 4, Block VII, Taieri
Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an
annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan,
and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of March and
the 1st day of September in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of eleven years from
the 1st day of March, 1907, or until the loan is fully paid off.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution (to operate
as a special order) was adopted at a special meeting of the
Mosgiel Borough Council held on the 18th day of April,
1910, and was duly confirmed at a special meeting of the
said Council held on the 23rd day of May, 1910.

THE following special orders, made by the Frankton
Town Board, are published in accordance with the
provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

FRANKTON TOWN DISTRICT.

Special Order making Special Rate.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendments, the Frankton Town Board hereby resolves as
follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and
other charges on a loan of £800, authorised to be raised by
the Frankton Town Board, under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of providing and erecting a public hall in
the Frankton Town District, the said Frankton Town Board
hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1½d. in the pound
upon the rateable value of all rateable property in the
Frankton Town District; and that such special rate shall
be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in
each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully
paid off. The rate of interest to be paid on the above said
loan to be £5 per centum per annum.

FRANKTON TOWN DISTRICT.

Special Order making Special Rate.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its
amendments, the Frankton Town Board hereby resolves as
follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and
other charges on a loan of £1,200, authorised to be raised
by the Frankton Town Board, under the above-mentioned Act,
for the purpose of forming and improving streets within the
boundaries of the Frankton Town District, the said Frank-
ton Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d.
in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property
in the Frankton Town District; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully
paid off. The rate of interest to be paid on the above said
loan to be £3 10s. per centum per annum.

Board, is published in accordance with the provi-
sions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

RAGLAN TOWN DISTRICT.

Special Order making Special Rate over Whole Town Area.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and
amendments thereto, and the New Zealand State-guaran-
teed Advances Act, 1909, the Raglan Town Board hereby
resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the
interest and other charges on a loan of £600, authorised to
be raised by the Raglan Town Board, under the above-
mentioned Acts, for the purpose of forming and metalling
certain roads and footpaths within the Raglan Town Area
(£200 of this amount to be expended in forming, metalling,
and kerbing in Cliff Street, and the balance of £400 in
forming, metalling, kerbing, and channelling in Bow
Street), the said Raglan Town Board hereby makes and
levies a special rate of 1¾d. in the pound upon the rateable
value of all rateable property within the Raglan Town Dis-
trict, as defined by the Town Boards Act, 1908; and that
such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on
the 1st day of July and the 1st day of January in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of thirty-six years and a half, and the interest to
be paid at the rate of 4⅞ per cent. per annum, or until the
