WANGANUI COUNTY COUNCIL.
THAT, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it by the Road Boards Act, 1908, the Counties Act, 1908, and the respective amendments thereof, and of all other powers (if any), the Wanganui County Council, by way of special order, hereby resolves and declares that a portion of the Mataongaonga Road District shall be annexed to the Mangawhero Road District, having the following boundaries, that is to say:—
All that area situated in Blocks II and III, Ikitara Survey District, being portion of the Mataongaonga Road District: bounded towards the south-west by a line along the middle of the Kaimatira Road from the left bank of the Wanganui River to a point where the said Kaimatira Road is crossed by the Mataongaonga Stream; thence in a north-easterly direction by the Mataongaonga Stream to where the said stream crosses the eastern boundary of Section 120, Block II; thence in a north-easterly direction by the eastern boundary of the said Section 120 to the south-east corner of Section 122A, Block II; thence in an easterly direction by the southern boundary of Sections 356, 357, 358, and 359 to the south-eastern corner of Section 359, Block III; thence in a northerly direction by the eastern boundary of the said Section 359, Block III, to the north-west corner of Section 360, Block III; thence in an easterly direction by the southern boundary of Sections 354 and 353, Block III, to the south-east corner of the said Section 353; thence in a northerly direction by the eastern boundary of the said Section 353 to its north-easterly corner; thence in a westerly direction by the northern boundary of Sections 353 and 354, Block III, and of Sections 278, 158A, and 157, Block II, to the north-west corner of the said Section 157; thence by the crossing of the river-bank reserve to the Wanganui River; and thence by the said Wanganui River to the place of commencement.
And also that the boundaries of the Mataongaonga Road District be redefined as follows: bounded towards the north-west commencing at a point in the middle of the Kaimatira Road where it is intersected by the Mataongaonga Stream, proceeding in an easterly direction by the said Mataongaonga Stream to where the said stream crosses the eastern boundary of Section 120, Block II, Ikitara; thence in a north-easterly direction by the eastern boundary of the said Section 120 to the south-east corner of Section 122A, Block II; thence in an easterly direction by the southern boundaries of Sections 356, 357, 358, and 359 to the south-east corner of Section 359, Block III; thence in a northerly direction by the eastern boundary of the said Section 359 to the north-west corner of Section 360, Block III; thence in an easterly direction by the southern boundaries of Sections 354 and 353, Block III, to the south-east corner of the said Section 353, Block III; thence in a northerly direction by the eastern boundary of the said Section 353 to its north-east corner; thence along the northern boundaries of Sections 352, 351, and 350 to the south-west corner of Section 341, Block III; thence in a northerly direction by the western boundary of the said Section 341 to its north-west corner; thence in an easterly direction by the northern boundaries of Sections 341, 340, and 339, Block III, and Sections 336, 333, and 335, Block IV, to the north-east corner of the said Section 334; thence in a southerly direction by the eastern boundary of the said Section 334 to its south-east corner; thence in a westerly direction by the southern boundary of the said Section 334 to its south-west corner; thence in a south-westerly direction by the southern boundaries of Sections 367, 366, 365, 363, and 293, Block III, Section 292, Block II, part of the eastern boundary of Section 88, and the southern boundaries of Sections 88, 87, 86, 85, and 84, Block II, to the middle point of Gordon Park Road; thence in a north-westerly direction by a line along the middle of Gordon Park Road to its junction with the Kaimatira Road; thence by a line along the middle of the Kaimatira Road to the point of commencement.
And also that the boundaries of the Mangawhero Road District be redefined as follows: bounded on the north by the Waimarino County; on the east by the Mangamahu Road District; on the south by the Kaukatea Road District, the Mataongaonga Road District hereinbefore described, and the Borough of Wanganui East; and on the west by the Wanganui River.
I certify that the above-written descriptions are sufficient to identify the proposed road districts on the maps of this Department.

THE following special order, made by the Frankton Drainage Board, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908.

FRANKTON DRAINAGE BOARD.
Special Order making Special Rate.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, and its amendments, the Frankton Drainage Board hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £650, authorised to be raised by the Frankton Drainage Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for making new drains, deepening and improving existing drains within the Frankton Drainage District, the said Frankton Drainage Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of ½d. in the pound on all land classified “A,” and a special rate of ¼d. in the pound on all land classified “B,” upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the whole of the Frankton Drainage District; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 31st day of March in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty-six years, or until the loan is fully paid off. The rate of interest to be paid on the above said loan to be £5 per centum per annum.

BOROUGH OF ONEHUNGA.
PURSUANT to section 13 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, I hereby give notice that at a poll of the ratepayers of the Borough of Onehunga, taken on the 6th day of April, 1910, on the proposal of the Onehunga Borough Council to borrow the sum of £3,450, for the purpose of waterworks extension and purchase of meters, the number of votes recorded for the proposal was 104, and the number of votes recorded against the proposal was 12.
I therefore declare that the proposal was carried.

LEADING MARKS FOR NELSON HAVEN APPROACH.

NOTICE is hereby given that the bell buoy in Nelson Haven Approach having been driven from its moorings a leading beacon, triangular, 22 ft. high, exhibiting a fixed white light elevated 13 ft. above H.W., has been exhibited in lat. 41° 16⅔′ S., long. 173° 16′ E., on Waimea Bank, 1·6 cables north from the existing light beacon. This beacon replaces the bell buoy and light as a front leading mark for the approach to the old entrance to the harbour.
