ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings, at Wellington, this twenty-seventh day of April, 1910.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE SIR J. G. WARD, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS the Board of the Avondale Road District, in the County of Eden, being a county in which the Counties Act, 1908, is suspended, have made an application under section one hundred and forty-five of the Road Boards Act, 1908, and it is expedient to grant such application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Road Boards Act, 1908, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the provisions of sections one hundred and forty-six, one hundred and forty-seven, and one hundred and forty-eight of the Road Boards Act, 1908, shall apply to the said Avondale Road Board as from the date of the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a Government road.
