Lands temporarily reserved as Endowments for Primary Education in the Auckland Land District.


PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first section of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that the Governor may from time to time, either by general or particular description, and whether the same has been surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwithstanding that the same may be then held under pastoral license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned:

Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the lands in the Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereunder written, as endowments for primary education.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 659 acres 2 roods 17 perches, more or less, being Section No. 13A, Block III, Tutamoe Survey District. Bounded towards the north generally by a public road, by the crossing of a public road, and again by a public road; towards the east generally by a public road, the crossing of a public road, and by Sections Nos. 8 and 14, Block III, Tutamoe Survey District; towards the south generally by Section No. 14, Block III aforesaid; and towards the west by Section No. 4A, Block II, Tutamoe Survey District: save and excepting a public road intersecting the before-described land: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5284/6A, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 237 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 4, Block II, Maungataniwha Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 3, Block II, Maungataniwha Survey District; towards the east by a public road; towards the south by Section No. 5, Block II aforesaid; and towards the west by south portion and middle portion of Allotment No. 6, Parish of Waitarau: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5284/6B, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 370 acres, more or less, being Section No. 6, Block XIII, Maketu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Section No. 3, Block XIII, Maketu Survey District; towards the south-east by Section 7, Block XIII aforesaid, and Section No. 8, Block IV, Rotorua Survey District; towards the south-west by the last-mentioned section; and towards the north-west generally by the Matai Road: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5284/6C, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 135 acres, more or less, being Section No. 21A, Block III, Te Tumu Survey District. Bounded towards the north-west by Papamoa No. 2 Block, Sections Nos. 1 and 2; towards the east generally by a public road; towards the south by Section No. 20, Block III, Te Tumu Survey District, and Section No. 4, Block XV, Tauranga Survey District; and towards the west by Section No. 1, Block XV, Tauranga Survey District aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5284/6D, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 542 acres, more or less, being Section No. 3, Block XV, Waiawa Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by Takaputahi Block; towards the south generally by Section No. 4, Block XV, Waiawa Survey District; towards the south-west by Whitikau No. 3B No. 1 Block; and towards the north-west by Opape Native Reserve No. 6, the abutment of a public road, and again by the said Native reserve: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5284/6E, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 16 acres 2 roods, more or less, being Section No. 7, Block V, Te Tumu Survey District. Bounded towards the east by Section No. 6, Block V, Te Tumu Survey District, and Te Paroa Block; towards the south-east and south-west by a public road along the Kaituna River; and towards the north-west by Tumu Kaituna 8B Block: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5284/6G, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 155 acres and 11 perches, more or less, being Section No. 10, Block IX, Waitoa Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 8, Block IX, Waitoa Survey District; towards the north-east by a public road; towards the south and towards the west by Section No. 8, Block IX aforesaid: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5284/6H, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.

All that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 86 acres 1 rood 14 perches, more or less, being Section No. 18, Block XI, Waihou Survey District. Bounded towards the north by Section No. 17, Block XI, Waihou Survey District; towards the east by a public road; towards the south-east by a public road; towards the south-west by Section No. 25, Block XI aforesaid; and towards the west by Section No. 24 of the aforesaid block: as the same is delineated on the plan marked L. 5284/6I, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon edged purple.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor, this fifth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and ten.
