Land taken for the Purposes of a Road in Blocks VIII and XII, Thames Survey District, Thames County.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under "The Public Works Act, 1908," for a certain public work, to wit, for the purposes of a road in Blocks VIII and XII, Thames Survey District:
And whereas all the conditions precedent required by law to be observed and performed prior to the taking of such land for the purposes hereinbefore specified have been observed and performed:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the powers and authorities in me vested by "The Public Works Act, 1908," and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land mentioned in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also hereby declare that this Proclamation shall take effect from and after the eighteenth day of May, one thousand nine hundred and ten.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right Honourable William Lee, Baron Plunket, Knight Grand Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Knight Commander of the Royal Victorian Order, Governor and Commander-in-Chief in and over His Majesty's Dominion of New Zealand and its Dependencies; and issued under the Seal of the said Dominion, at the Government House, at Wellington, this twelfth day of April, in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and ten.

A PROCLAMATION.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of "The Land Act, 1908," I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the consent of the owners, lessees, and mortgagees of the land mentioned in the First Schedule hereto, and of the Mangawhero Road Board, being the local authority in whose district the said land is situated, proclaim as a road the land in Waipakura Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby, with the like consents as aforesaid, proclaim as
closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto, which is not required by reason of the road described in the First Schedule hereto.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by paragraph (c) of section one hundred and thirty-three of "The Public Works Act, 1908," it is enacted that the Governor may, by Proclamation publicly notified, stop or alter the course of any Government road or any part thereof:
And whereas the Government road described in the Schedule hereto is no longer required for the purpose of a road:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and in exercise of the above-in-part-recited Act, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim as stopped the road in Kawhia North and Pirongia Survey Districts described in the Schedule hereto
