SCHEDULE.
All that portion of road in the Hawke’s Bay Land District, Waikohu County, known as the Mutuera Road, commencing at its junction with the Wharekopae-Tahora Road, and proceeding along the eastern boundary of Section 3, Block IX, Ngatapa Survey District, to a point about 4 chains north of the south-eastern boundary of the said Section 3, a distance of 41 chains, more or less; as the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 26205, and deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, at Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in him by “The Public Works Act, 1908,” and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
All that road in the Auckland Land District, Waitomo County, known as the Mairoa Road, commencing at its junction with the Te Kuiti-Mokau Road, and running in a northerly direction generally through Te Ngarara and Kaingapipi Blocks, and Crown land, all of Block IX, Otanake Survey District; thence through Arapae No. 3D (Kinohaku East), Block IX, Otanake Survey District, and Blocks XII and VIII, Maungamangero Survey District, and Block V, Otanake Survey District; thence along the frontages of Sections 1, 2, 3, and part 4; thence through the Mairoa Village; thence along the frontages of Sections 9 (school-site) and part 4, all of Block VIII, Maungamangero Survey District; thence along the frontage of Section 6, Block IV, Maungamangero Survey District, to the north-western corner of the said Section 6, a distance of 10 miles 35 chains, more or less: as the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 26120, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works, Wellington, in the Wellington Provincial District, and thereon coloured red.

Notice of Intention to change the Purpose of Portion of a Reserve in the Canterbury Land District.
PLUNKET, Governor.
WHEREAS by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” it is, amongst other things, enacted that the Governor may declare his intention to change, exchange, or alter the dedication of any public reserve now or hereafter vested in His Majesty or the Governor for any of the purposes named in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, whether the same be granted or not; and in the case of any reserve made under the authority of section three hundred and twenty-one of “The Land Act, 1908,” if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to change the purpose of such reserve or any part thereof from the purpose or presumed purpose for which it was set apart to any other purpose, or if it shall, in the opinion of the Governor, be expedient to exchange any of the land comprised in such reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one or more purposes named in the said Class II, the Governor may, by notice gazetted, make such change, exchange, or dedication, as the case may be, and in such notice declare the manner and terms in which the same is intended to be so made:
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me by “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908,” aforesaid, declare my intention to change the specific purpose of the portion of the reserve described in the second column of the Schedule hereto from that named in the first column of the said Schedule to that named in the third column of the said Schedule.

Exchanging Portion of a Reserve for other Land.

WHEREAS by notice published on page 122 of the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-seventh day of January, one thousand eight hundred and eighty-one, Section 210, Suburbs of Gisborne, containing eight acres and sixteen perches, was set aside as a reserve for a sheep and cattle quarantine-ground, being one of the purposes enumerated in Class II of the Second Schedule to “The Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908” (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”): And whereas section six of the said Act authorises the Governor to exchange any of the land comprised in such reserve for other land of equal value, to be dedicated to one or more of the purposes comprised in the said Class II: And whereas, in the opinion of the Governor, it is expedient to exchange a portion of such reserve for other land of equal value described in the second column of the Schedule hereto, to be dedicated as hereinafter provided:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in him by section six of the said Act and of section one hundred and forty-two of “The Land Act, 1908,” doth hereby declare that the land described in the first column of the Schedule hereto (being portion of the hereinbefore-mentioned reserve) is hereby exchanged for the Crown land described in the second column of the Schedule hereto, which, in the opinion of the Governor, is of equal value, and that the land described in the said first column becomes and is Crown land freed from
