THE following Notice to Mariners, received from the Marine Board, Port Adelaide, South Australia, is published for general information.

J. A. MILLAR.

GULF ST. VINCENT.—PORT ADELAIDE RIVER.

MASTERS of vessels, pilots, and others are informed that from a recent survey it has been found that the latest issue of the chart of the Port Adelaide River is not quite correct in the vicinity of No. 6 Green Light Beacon, abreast of which and for some distance in an easterly and westerly direction the bank extends about 40 ft. further into the channel than shown by the chart. The edge of the channel is about 60 ft. south of the No. 6 beacon.

The correct soundings will be shown in the next issue of the chart.

This affects Admiralty Charts 2389B, 1750, and 1752.
