IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing funds for the reconstruction of bridges on roads under the jurisdiction of the Council, the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes and levies an annual-recurring special rate (to be called a bridge rate) of ¼d. in the pound sterling upon the unimproved rateable value of all the rateable property of the County of Tauranga, comprising the whole of the said County of Tauranga; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year.

Passed at a special meeting of the Council held on the 4th day of October, 1910, and confirmed at an ordinary meeting of the Council held on the 23rd day of November, 1910.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Tauranga County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Tauranga County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming, grading, and metalling by-roads in the Te Puna Riding of the County of Tauranga, the said Tauranga County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ¼d. in the pound sterling upon the unimproved rateable value of all rateable property of the Te Puna Riding of the said county, comprising the whole of the Te Puna Riding; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Taranaki County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Taranaki County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of forming and metalling the Upper Carrington Road from the end of the present metal in a westerly direction, the said Taranaki County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 1d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Upper Carrington Road Special Rating District, comprising Sections 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, Block 5, Egmont Survey District; Sections, 9, 18, Block 7, Cape; part Section 107, Block 1, Egmont Survey District: and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MASTERTON COUNTY.

Special Order made by the Masterton County Council striking a Special Rate for Repayment of a Loan.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1908, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows: That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £500, authorized to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for constructing headworks and distributing-races in the Fernridge Water-supply District, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of 2½d. in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Fernridge Water-supply District, as described in a special order made by the said Council on the 24th day of November, 1909, defining the boundaries of and constituting the said district; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 1st day of February and the 1st day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half, or until the loan is fully paid off.

Passed at a special meeting of the Council, this 8th day of November, 1910; confirmed this 13th day of December, 1910.
