Notifying Lands in Westland Land District for Sale by Public Auction.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the one-hundred-and-twenty-sixth section of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Wednesday, the twenty-fifth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.

Opening Settlement Lands in Auckland Land District for Selection.
ISLINGTON, Governor.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, and the Land for Settlements Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the settlement lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Monday, the twentieth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, at the rentals mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said lands shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Acts.

Weighted with £101 15s. for improvements, consisting of separator-house, cowshed, and 83 chains of fencing. This amount must be deposited immediately on approval of application.
Altitude, 50 ft. to 150 ft. above sea-level. Undulating land; about 12 acres light mixed forest, comprising tawa, taraire, and punga; balance in grass. Soil of good quality, on hydraulic-limestone formation; indifferently watered, but water obtainable by sinking. Distant four miles from Whakapirau by well-formed metalled road.

Undulating to broken land; about 120 acres mixed forest of no commercial value; about 50 acres good flats on Kakahu Stream; balance fern and manuka slopes. Soil a fair light loam, on decomposed-rhyolite formation; well watered by streams. Distant about eight miles from Okoroire Railway-station.
Matamata County.—Patetere North Survey District.—Selwyn Settlement.

Altitude, 250 ft. to 600 ft. above sea-level. Level to undulating and broken land, covered with fern and manuka; inferior to very fair light loamy soil, on decomposed-rhyolite formation; about 200 acres flat land, of very fair quality, along Waiomou Stream; watered by same stream. Situated about eight miles from Okoroire Railway-station.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by the Land Act, 1908, I, John Poynder Dickson-Poynder, Baron Islington, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, having received the report of the Under-Secretary in this behalf, as provided by section one hundred and fifty-four of the said Act, do hereby declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for sale or selection on Monday, the twenty-seventh day of March, one thousand nine hundred and eleven; and also that the land mentioned in the said Schedule may, at the option of the applicant, be purchased for cash, or be selected for occupation with right of purchase or on renewable lease; and I do hereby also fix the prices at which the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased, as mentioned in the said Schedule hereto, and do declare that the said land shall be sold, occupied, or leased under and subject to the provisions of the Land Act, 1908.

Soil of good second-class quality, on clay subsoil; well watered. Situated about twenty-four miles from Kaihu by fair road.
