NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch City
Council, on behalf of the Mayor, Councillors, and
Citizens of the City of Christchurch, proposes to take,
under the provisions of the above-mentioned Act, the land
described in the Schedule hereto for the purpose of laying
out a new street in Sydenham Ward, between Colombo
Street and Queen Street, to connect Wordsworth Street
and Gladstone Street, and of acquiring the land which
the Council deems it necessary or expedient to acquire for
the purpose.
And further notice is hereby given that a survey has
been made, and a plan has been prepared, showing the land
required to be taken, together with the names of the
owners and occupiers of such land, so far as they can be
ascertained, and a copy of such plan is deposited at the
Town Clerk's Office, situate at the Christchurch City
Council Chambers, Oxford Terrace, Christchurch, and is
open for inspection by all persons during ordinary office
hours, namely: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily, except on Saturdays, when the hours are 9 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth
in writing any well-grounded objections to the said work,
or to the taking of the said land, and to send such writing,
within forty (40) days from the first publication of this
notice, to the said Christchurch City Council, addressed
to the Town Clerk, at the office of the said City Council,
situate as aforesaid.
Schedule.
All that parcel of land, having an approximate area of
8 perches, being part of Rural Section 79, coloured brown
in the plan marked B, situate in Sydenham Ward of the
City of Christchurch; as the same is more particularly
delineated in the plan marked and coloured as above
mentioned.

NOTICE OF CHANGE OF NAME.
GEORGE BUDD, of Pungarehu, in the Provincial
District of Taranaki and Dominion of New
Zealand, Assistant Storekeeper, do hereby give notice
that I have assumed and intend henceforth upon all occasions and at all times to sign and use and be called and
known by the Christian and surname of GEORGE RALPH
ROGERS in lieu of and in substitution for my present
Christian and surname of George Budd, and that such
intended change or assumption of name is formally declared and evidenced by deed-poll under my hand and
seal dated this day, and intended to be forthwith enrolled
in the office of the Supreme Court of New Zealand at
New Plymouth. In testimony whereof I do hereby sign
and subscribe myself by such my intended future name.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given, as required by the provisions
of the Partnership Act, 1908, that the Partnership
in the business of Builders and Contractors heretofore
carried on by us, the undersigned, at Timaru, under the
style of “Petric and McDougall,” has been from the 29th
day of October, 1910, dissolved by mutual consent.
Mr. WILLIAM McDOUGALL has purchased the business and
assets, and will carry on the connection ; he will also discharge all outstanding liabilities owing by, and receive all
debts owing to, the said late partnership.
