IT having been reported to me that the undermentioned companies have ceased to carry on business, I hereby give notice that at the expiration of three months from this date the names of such companies will, unless cause is shown to the contrary, be struck off the Register, and the companies will be dissolved.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore carried on by WILLIAM GRUAR and WILLIAM REES JONES at Wanganui as Boot and Shoe Dealers, under the style or firm of “Rees Jones Shoe Company,” has been dissolved by mutual consent. The business will in future be carried on by the said William Rees Jones, who will receive all accounts owing to and pay all the liabilities owing by the said firm.

NOTICE OF DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between THOMAS HOY and HERBERT NEAGLE, carrying on business at Waipukurau under the style or firm of “Hoy and Neagle,” has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 12th day of November, 1910. All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said Thomas Hoy, who will continue to carry on the said business.

NOTICE is hereby given that the following special resolution was passed at an extraordinary general meeting of the Shareholders of Dunn and Smith (Limited), Theatrical Entrepreneurs, duly held on the 28th day of October, 1910, and confirmed at an extraordinary general meeting held on the 14th day of November, 1910, that is to say : “That the company be wound up voluntarily ; and that ARTHUR ALBERT DUNN be and is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes of such winding-up.”

In the matter of the Companies Act, 1908 ; and the Taieri Falls Sluicing and Electric Power Transmission Company (Limited).
NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, duly convened and legally constituted, held in the registered office of the company, Exchange Court, Dunedin, on Tuesday, the 15th November, 1910, the following special resolution, passed at an extraordinary general meeting of shareholders, duly convened and legally constituted, held in the registered office of the company on the 27th October, 1910, namely :—
“ That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the company that the company cannot, by reason of its liabilities, continue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same ; and that a Liquidator be appointed for the purpose of such winding-up ”—
was confirmed. Also that EDWARD TRYTHALL, of Dunedin, Accountant, was appointed Liquidator for the purpose of winding up the affairs of the company.

OTAUTAU TOWN BOARD.
TAKING LAND UNDER THE PUBLIC WORKS ACT, 1908.
PUBLIC notice is hereby given that the Otautau Town Board, by resolution at a meeting duly convened and held on Monday, 14th November, 1910, resolved to take, under the Public Works Act, 1908, 11 acres 3 roods and 12 poles of the Otautau Public Domain, being an area of 10 acres 0 roods and 8 poles for use as a night-soil depot, 1 acre 0 roods and 4 poles for a site for sanitary buildings and water-supply, and 3 roods for roadways, and being part of Section 5, Block II, Aparima Hundred. The whole lying towards the south-eastern portion of the Otautau Public Domain, and situate between the Thornbury–Nightcaps Railway line and the Aparima River, and being intersected by the old branch of the Otautau Stream ; and as more particularly set out in the plan dated 16th June, 1910, prepared by George L. Cuthbertson, Licensed Surveyor, and which plan is deposited with the Town Clerk, Otautau, at his office, Standard Buildings, King Street, Otautau, where it may be inspected during business hours.
And notice is hereby given to all persons affected to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such sanitary works or to the taking of such land. All such objections must be made in writing to the Chairman of the Otautau Town Board not later than the 1st day
