IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND, NORTHERN DISTRICT.
No. 502.—In Divorce.
The twentieth day of September, 1910.
THE petition of LOUISA CARR, of Crummer Road, of the City of Auckland, showeth :

  1. That petitioner was on the 15th day of April, 1903, lawfully married to John Thomas Carr at the Sacred Heart Church in Ponsonby, Auckland, by the Reverend Father Egan.
  2. That after the said marriage the petitioner lived and cohabited with her said husband in Auckland, and the petitioner and her said husband have had issue of their marriage one child—namely, Muriel Ann Adelaide Carr, born on the 25th day of October, 1903.
  3. That on the 10th day of February, 1904, the petitioner's said husband at Auckland without just cause deserted the petitioner, and for five years and upwards (namely, from that date to the present time) has continued to desert the petitioner without just cause.
  4. The petitioner was born at Christchurch in New Zealand, and is domiciled in New Zealand, and resides in Auckland.
  5. That petitioner's said husband was born in Auckland aforesaid, and the petitioner has no knowledge of where he is.
  6. The petitioner therefore prays :—
    (a.) That the said marriage of the petitioner with her said husband be dissolved:
    (b.) That the petitioner have the custody of the child of the marriage:
    (c.) That the said husband of the petitioner be ordered to pay the costs of these proceedings:
    (d.) That the petitioner have such further or other relief in the premises as may be just.
