Lynn Borough Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the shops in which groceries are retailed within the Borough of Grey Lynn :
Now, therefore, I, John Andrew Millar, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, do hereby direct that from and after the 1st day of December, 1910, all such shops in the Borough of Grey Lynn shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.

Notice fixing Closing-hours of Grocers’ Shops in the Epsom Road District under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the shops in which groceries are sold by retail in the Epsom Road District, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all such shops in the road district shall be closed as follows : 7 o’clock p.m. on four days in the week; 1 o’clock p.m. on the day of the statutory half-holiday; 10 o’clock p.m. on Saturdays; 11 o’clock on the evening preceding Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, and 9 o’clock on the evening preceding any other public holiday: And whereas the Epsom Road Board has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all such shops in the Epsom Road District :
Now, therefore, I, John Andrew Millar, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, do hereby direct that from and after the 1st day of December, 1910, all such shops in the Epsom Road District shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.

Notice fixing Closing-hours of Hairdressers’ and Tobacconists’ Shops in the Borough of Wanganui under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all shops carrying on business as hairdressers and tobacconists in the Borough of Wanganui, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all such shops in the borough shall be closed in the evening of working-days as follows : Mondays, 8 p.m. ; Tuesdays, 6 p.m. ; Wednesdays, 8 p.m. ; Thursdays, 1 p.m. (half-holiday) ; Fridays, 6 p.m. ; Saturdays, 10 p.m., on all days of the year excepting on the eves of holidays mentioned in section 19 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, and excepting on the eves and nights of the following days : Wanganui Show Days, Wanganui Race Days, days on which regattas or boat races are held, and days on which sports are held in Wanganui, and provided also that this requisition shall not apply in regard to the last fourteen days of December in each year : And whereas the Wanganui Borough Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the shops carrying on business as hairdressers and tobacconists, combined and separately, within the Borough of Wanganui :
Now, therefore, I, John Andrew Millar, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, do hereby direct that from and after the 28th day of November, 1910, all hairdressers’ and tobacconists’ shops, combined and separately, in the Borough of Wanganui shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.

Forbidding Money-order and Postal Correspondence for the Watworth Company, Sydney.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the company whose name and present address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in advertising the treatment of diseases of the sexual organs, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of the said company shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said company (either by its own or any fictitious or assumed name), or to the manager, secretary, or other officer thereof, or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered, forwarded, or delivered by the Post Office of New Zealand.

Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of Roads in Block II, Piopiotea West Survey District, Ohura County.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, under the authority of section 93 of the Public Works Act, 1908, that the roads described in the Schedule hereto were, on the 28th day of May, 1908, and 20th day of December, 1907, duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said Dominion, by Warrant dated the 25th day of October, 1907.
