Notice of the Taking and Laying-off of a Road through Native Land in the Auckland Land District.
NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, under the authority of section 93 of “The Public Works Act, 1908,” that the road described in the Schedule hereto was duly taken and laid off through the lands specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said Dominion, by Warrant dated the 7th day of December, 1905.

VICTORIA.
Explosives Anchorage Buoy, Port Phillip.
REFERRING to General Notice to Mariners dated 1st August, 1907, page 84, and subsequent notices regarding the explosives anchorage buoy off Truganina Jetty, within Port Phillip, mariners and others are hereby notified that on or after the 1st December, 1909, such buoy will be shifted from its present position to a point from whence Gellibrand Pile Lighthouse bears north 56° east, and the outer end of Truganina Jetty bears north 47° west, distant one mile and three-quarters. The buoy, which will be moored in about five fathoms of water on the northern boundary of the anchorage, shows a flashing white light for three-tenths of a second during every three seconds.

SOUTH AUSTRALIA.
Spencer Gulf.—Wardang Island.
MASTERS of vessels and others are hereby notified that an unwatched light has been established on the highest point of Wardang Island, showing all round a white flash every 3 seconds; the duration of the flash is ³⁄₁₀ second and eclipse 2⁷⁄₁₀ seconds. The height of the focal plane is 116 ft., and the light should be visible in clear weather for a distance of about 16 miles.
This light is mounted on an iron pillar, and is surrounded by a close fence painted white.
Approximate position: Lat. 34° 30½′ S., long. 137° 21¼′ E.
This affects Admiralty Charts 2389B and 752.
