Madras Harbour Entrance Lights.
MASTERS of vessels, pilots, and others are hereby informed that, in view to the opening for traffic of the new entrance to the Madras Harbour and the closing of the old one, it is intended to exhibit, on or about the 1st January, 1910, the lights of the description given below, from which date the existing entrance lights will be removed from their present position.
The exact date of exhibition and removal will be furnished later.

Notice fixing Closing-hours of Saddlers' and Harness-makers' Shops in the Borough of Feilding under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of shops carrying on the trade of saddlers and harness-makers in the Borough of Feilding, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all such shops in the borough shall be closed as follows: On Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday at the hour of 5.30 o'clock p.m., and on Saturday at the hour of 1 o'clock p.m.: And whereas the Feilding Borough Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of shops carrying on the business of saddlers and harness-makers in the Borough of Feilding:
Now, therefore, I, John Andrew Millar, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of “The Shops and Offices Act, 1908,” do hereby direct that, from and after the 17th day of January, 1910, all such shops in the Borough of Feilding shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.
In the case of any such shopkeeper observing the day appointed for the weekly half-holiday (at present Wednesday) in lieu of Saturday, the hour for closing on Saturday shall be 5.30 p.m.

Varied Notice fixing Closing-hours of all Shops in the Borough of Inglewood under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the shops in the Borough of Inglewood, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all shops in the borough, excepting hairdressers', tobacconists', fruiterers', confectioners', fishmongers', and cycle-repairers' shops, shall be closed at 5.30 p.m., Thursdays and Saturdays excepted: And whereas the Inglewood Borough Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all shops within the Borough of Inglewood.
Now, therefore, I, John Andrew Millar, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of “The Shops and Offices Act, 1908,” do hereby direct that, from and after the 17th day of January, 1910, all shops in the Borough of Inglewood, excepting hairdressers', tobacconists', fruiterers', confectioners', fishmongers', and cycle-repairers' shops, shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.
The notice gazetted the 7th February, 1907, fixing the closing-hours of all shops in the borough, is hereby varied accordingly.

Varied Notice fixing Closing-hours of Grocers' Shops in the City of Christchurch under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the grocers' shops within the area of Greater Christchurch, has been forwarded to me, desiring that all such shops in the city shall be closed as follows: At 8 p.m. on four nights of the week; on the statutory closing-day at 1 p.m., and on Saturday at 10.30 p.m.: And whereas the Christchurch City Council has certified that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the retail grocers' shops within the City of Christchurch:
Now, therefore, I, John Andrew Millar, Minister of Labour, in pursuance of section 25 of “The Shops and Offices Act, 1908,” do hereby direct that, from and after the 17th January, 1910, all such grocers' shops in the City of Christchurch shall be closed in accordance with such requisition.
The notice gazetted on the 10th June, 1909, fixing the closing-hours of all such shops, is hereby varied accordingly.

Forbidding Money-order and Postal Correspondence for H. H. Watson, Sydney.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in advertising the treatment of diseases of the sexual organs, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 of “The Post and Telegraph Act, 1908,” that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by his own or any fictitious or assumed name), or to such address without a name, shall be either registered, forwarded, or delivered by the Post Office of New Zealand.

NOTICE is hereby given, by direction of His Excellency the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, under authority of section 92 of “The Public Works Act, 1894,” that the road described in the Schedule hereto was, on the 25th March, 1905, duly taken and laid off through the land specified in the said Schedule, under the authority of the Governor of the said Dominion, by Warrant dated the 18th day of March, 1905,
