APPLICATION having been made to me for the issue of a provisional certificate of title in favour of ANNIE STEWART, of Centre Bush, Widow, for Sections 672, 673, 674, and 675, Hokonui District, being the land contained in certificate of title, Vol: 70, folio 281, and evidence having been lodged of the loss of the said certificate of title, I hereby give notice that I shall issue a provisional certificate of title as requested unless caveat be lodged forbidding the same within fourteen days from the date of publication of this notice in the Gazette.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between Ross BOUTTELL and SAMUEL WILLIAM COPE, carrying on business as Storekeepers, at Kilbirnie, has been dissolved as from the 8th day of November, 1909, so far as concerns the said Ross Bouttell, who retires from the said firm.
All debts due to and owing by the said late firm will be received and paid respectively by the said Samuel William Cope, who will continue to carry on the said business, under the style of “Samuel William Cope, late Bouttell and Cope.”

All debts owing to the late firm are to be paid to, and all liabilities owing by the late firm will be discharged by, James Martin Phillipps, who will continue to carry on the business of the late firm, at Auckland, under the style of “J. M. Phillipps.”

I, ANDREW WALTER FORREST, of Waianiwa, Southland, originally named “Hutchison,” but for many years past having been known by the name of “Forrest” without having formally abandoned the said name of “Hutchison,” hereby give public notice that on the 23rd day of October, 1909, by deed poll duly executed and attested, I formally and absolutely renounced, relinquished, and abandoned the use of the said surname of “Hutchison,” and declared that I had assumed and adopted, and intended on all occasions whatsoever to use and subscribe, the name of “Forrest,” instead of the said name of “Hutchison,” and so as to be at all times thereafter called, known, and described by the name of “Forrest” exclusively.

THE ONGA ONGA CO-OPERATIVE DAIRY FACTORY (LIMITED).
AT a special general meeting held on the 26th March, 1909, the above company went into liquidation, as per the following resolution:—
“In consideration of the fact that it does not appear possible to carry on the company in its present position, and in consequence of the lack of support by milk-suppliers, the company be wound up by voluntary liquidation, and the present secretary, Mr. J. W. FINDLAY, be appointed sole Liquidator, at the remuneration of 5 per cent. on the amount realised for the assets of the company.”

NOTICE is hereby given that the Hutt County Council proposes to take for the purposes of a public road the following lands, namely:—
(1.) 3 acres and 29 perches, part Taupo No. 1 Block.
(2.) 6 acres 1 rood 11 perches, part Section 82, Porirua District.
(3.) 1 acre 3 roods 36 perches, part Section 83, Porirua District.
A plan of the land proposed to be taken is open for inspection at the offices of the Hutt County Council, 68 Lambton Quay, Wellington, during business hours.
All persons affected are hereby required to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the execution of such work or to the taking of such land, and to send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Hutt County Council.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Tauranga County Council, on behalf of the Chairman, Councillors, and Inhabitants of the County of Tauranga, intends to acquire and take for a public work—to wit, a quarry—the lands described in the Schedule hereto. All persons affected are hereby called upon to set forth in writing any well-grounded objections to the taking of such lands, and to send such writing to the Tauranga County Council, within forty days from the 12th day of November, 1909, being the day of the first publication of this notice. A plan of the lands to be taken, together with a list of the names of the owners and occupiers of such lands so far as can be ascertained, is deposited at King’s store, Te Puke, and is open to inspection during ordinary business hours.
