SETTLERS’ STEAMSHIP COMPANY (LIMITED), (IN LIQUIDATION).

NOTICE is hereby given that an Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders of the above company will be held on Tuesday, the 7th day of December, 1909, at 2.30 o’clock in the afternoon, at the office of W. R. Holmes, Herald Buildings, Queen Street, Auckland, for the purpose of receiving the Liquidators’ account showing the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been conducted and the assets of the company disposed of.

RE GOLDEN BAY COAL COMPANY (LIMITED).

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary meeting of the above company, held at the office of Mr. W. W. Bruce, Swanson Street, Auckland, on the 21st day of October, 1909, the following resolution was passed:—

“That the above company go into voluntary liquidation, and that the company be wound up, and that Mr. W. W. Bruce be appointed Liquidator.”

And that at an extraordinary general meeting held on the 11th day of November, 1909, the said resolution was duly confirmed.

TAIERI DRAINAGE BOARD ELECTION.

In the matter of “The Taieri Land Drainage Act, 1907,” “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and “The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908.”

I HEREBY give public notice that at the election of a Trustee for the Owhiro, Momona, and Lakes Subdivisions respectively of the Taieri Drainage District, held this 1st day of November, 1909, the persons hereinafter named were candidates, and received the number of votes set opposite their names respectively, that is to say:—

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership heretofore subsisting between the undersigned, CHARLES DICKINSON and DONALD MILLER, carrying on business as Tobacconists in High Street, Dunedin, under the style of “Charles Dickinson,” has this day been dissolved by mutual consent. All debts due to the late partnership are directed to be paid to Mr. Dickinson, who is continuing the business, and who will discharge all liabilities of the partnership.

In the matter of “The Taieri Land Drainage Act, 1907,” “The Land Drainage Act, 1908,” and “The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908.”

I HEREBY give public notice that CHARLES FINDLAY, NINIAN REID, and JAMES THOMAS GIBSON were duly nominated as candidates for the office of Trustee for Silverstream, West Taieri, and Lee Creek Subdivisions respectively of the Taieri Drainage District. There being only one vacancy to be filled in each subdivision, and no other candidates nominated, I do publicly notify and declare the said Charles Findlay, Ninian Reid, and James Thomas Gibson to be duly elected Trustees for Silverstream, West Taieri, and Lee Creek Subdivisions respectively of the district aforesaid.

THE NEW ZEALAND GAZETTE.

SUBSCRIPTIONS.—The subscription is at the rate of 33s. per annum, including postage, PAYABLE IN ADVANCE. A less period than three months cannot be subscribed for.

Single copies of the Gazette, 6d. each.

Advertisements are charged at the rate of 6d. per line for the first insertion, and 3d. per line for the second and any subsequent insertion.

Statements under the Mining Act are uniformly charged 23s.

All advertisements should be written on one side of the paper, and signatures, &c., should be written in a legible hand.

The number of insertions required must be written across the face of the advertisement.

The New Zealand Gazette is published on Thursday evening in each week, and notices for insertion must be received by the Government Printer before 3 o’clock of the day preceding publication.

Communications should be addressed to the Government Printer, Wellington, to whom post-office money-orders should be made payable. Cheques should be crossed “Public a/c,” and exchange added.

Postage or duty stamps cannot be received in payment from any place at which postal notes or post-office orders are issued.

Prepayment may be demanded in any case. In order to prevent delay in publication, a sufficient remittance should accompany every advertisement. Any surplus will be returned with receipted account.
