of 15 acres grassing, 46 chains fencing, and small shed.
Altitude, 500 ft. to 600 ft. above sea-level. Undulating
and level land; 15 acres grass, balance fern and manuka.
Soil of a sandy nature, medium quality. Watered by a
small stream. Situated about eight miles from Putaruru
Railway-station by fairly good cart-road.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this twenty-eighth day of January, one thousand
nine hundred and nine.

Land temporarily reserved for a Site for a Public Cemetery
in the Auckland Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

WHEREAS by the three-hundred-and-twenty-first sec-
tion of “The Land Act, 1908,” it is enacted that
the Governor may from time to time, either by general or
particular description, and whether the same has been
surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwith-
standing that the same may be then held under pastoral
license, any Crown lands which in his opinion are required
for any of the purposes in the said section mentioned :
Now, therefore, I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise
and pursuance of the powers and authorities vested in me
by the said Act, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale
the land in the Auckland Land District described in the
Schedule hereunder written, for a site for a public cemetery.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, containing by
admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods, more or less, being Section
No. 12 of Waimana Settlement, situated in Block III, Wai-
mana Survey District. Bounded towards the north by
Section No. 6, Waimana Settlement, 405 links; towards
the south-east and south by Section No. 5, Waimana
Settlement aforesaid, 405 links each; and towards the
north-west by a public road, 405 links: be all the afore-
said linkages more or less: as the same is delineated on the
plan marked L. 1574/1, deposited in the Head Office, Depart-
ment of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

this second day of February, one thousand nine
hundred and nine.

the Wellington Land District.

PLUNKET, Governor.

the Governor may from time to time, either by general or

surveyed or not, reserve from sale temporarily, notwith-

Apiti Survey District: as the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. 58818, deposited in the Head Office, Department
of Lands, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor,
this second day of February, one thousand nine
hundred and nine.

Appointing Local Bodies to have Authority throughout
Licensing Districts.

PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority
conferred upon me by the sixty-third section of “The
Licensing Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the
Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby
appoint the local bodies named in the first column of the
Schedule hereto to have authority for the purposes of the
Licensing Act throughout the licensing districts respectively
named in the second column of the said Schedule opposite
the name of each such local body respectively, and to make
all necessary appointments and to do all things required for
the conduct of elections or the taking of a poll of electors,
and to have the general administration of the Licensing
Act within such licensing districts respectively.
