PLUNKET, Governor.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by “The Land Act, 1908,” and “The Land for Settlements Act, 1908,” I, William Lee, Baron Plunket, the Governor of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby declare that the settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be open for selection on renewable lease on Wednesday, the twenty-eighth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nine, at the rental mentioned in the said Schedule; and I do also declare that the said land shall be leased under and subject to the provisions of the said Acts.

Weighted with £676, valuation for six-roomed house, 382 chains fencing, shed, and 20 acres grassing. Altitude, from 600 ft. to 1,000 ft. above sea-level. Covered with fern and manuka; 300 acres to 400 acres level and undulating, balance undulating to broken. Soil of fair to medium quality, and well watered by permanent streams. Fronts main road from Matamata to Cambridge. Eight miles from Matamata by good formed cart-road.
